Who is sitting at your table? 🪑✨

The people you allow closest to you aren’t just passing the time—they are shaping your perspective, guarding (or draining) your heart, and ultimately influencing your destiny.

If your roots are planted in dry, toxic soil, what’s on top will eventually wither. It’s not just about being polite; it’s about protecting your wisdom. Take a look at the voices you’ve given a seat to. If they bring envy, doubt, or pride, it might be time to change the seating arrangement.

Walk with the wise, guard your circle, and don’t be afraid to look beyond it to find the voices that push you to grow. 🌱

In the second week of our Get Growing series, we looked at the table of our lives and asking: Who are we inviting to speak into our seasons? We have an incredible wealth of wisdom right here in our church family. To those in your 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond: We need your wisdom around the table. The next generation needs your investment, your stories, and your guidance.

The next time you're at church, don't just zip out after service! Find someone who could be wiser than you, introduce yourself, and learn from the fruit of their walk with God. Or think of joining a small group — and find more people to sit around your wisdom table.

This Sunday we’ll baptize people from Venezuela 🇻🇪, Russia 🇷🇺, and Hong Kong 🇭🇰. Three completely different stories, backgrounds, and cultures and all of them found hope in Jesus. 😍

Baptism is one of the most honest things a person can do. You stand there as you are and say: “I want to follow Jesus.” Not because you have everything together or because your life is perfect. Just because Jesus changed something in you.

And maybe you’ve been thinking about getting baptized for a while now. Maybe you always felt like you needed more time first. Let me be honest: You probably don’t. If you already decided to follow Jesus, maybe this Sunday is your moment to take that step. Reach out to us if you have questions and want to sign up and prepare. Or come this Sunday and get baptized spontaneously.

The baptisms will happen between our services around 11:25–11:30 am. Stay a little longer after the first service or come a little earlier for the second and celebrate with us 🙌🏻
