Promises God Never Made

•God never promised that you would always be happy.
He promised to be with you, even when you are in tears.
(Psalm 34:19)

•He never promised that all your dreams would come true.
He teaches us to pray:
“Your will be done.”
(Matthew 6:10)

•God never promised that there would be no enemies.
But He gave this command: love them and pray for them.
(Matthew 5:44)

•God never promised that you would be successful.
But He showed that faithfulness is valued above success.
(Matthew 25:21)

•He never promised that you would avoid loss.
But He promised: “As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you.”
(Isaiah 66:13)

•He never promised that life would be fair.
But He said: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay.”
(Romans 12:19)

•God never promised that you would understand everything.
But He gave this assurance:
“My ways are higher than your ways.”
(Isaiah 55:9)

God did not promise comfort.
He promised His presence.

• Дитячі травми та страхи часто формують наше бажання постійно доводити свою цінність людям.
• Світ вчить порівнювати: красу, успіх, стосунки, популярність, гроші — але порівняння краде мир і вдячність.
• Соцмережі створюють ілюзію: “нема фото — значить цього не було”, хоча найцінніше часто неможливо показати.
• Реальне життя не схоже на романтизовані історії з фільмів, як Titanic — справжня любов потребує зрілості, вірності та жертовності.
• Людина не стає ціннішою через увагу людей, лайки чи зовнішній успіх.
• Ми втрачаємо себе, коли починаємо міряти своє життя чужими стандартами.
• “Яка користь людині, коли вона здобуде ввесь світ, але занапастить свою душу?” — Євангеліє від Марка 8:36
• “Не уподібнюйтесь цьому світові…” — Послання до римлян 12:2
• Бог не оцінює нас за картинкою, статусом чи “успішним образом”.
• Вдячність за те, що ми маємо, де ми є і як Бог веде нас — повертає мир у серце.
• Не все цінне є показовим, і не все показове є цінним.
• Справжня цінність людини — не в порівнянні з іншими, а в тому, що вона створена Богом.

Pride or Humility?
“Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 14:11)

God Exalts
The Lord desires to lift everyone up—but His way begins with humility.

Humility Opens Heaven
To humble yourself before God means to entrust your whole life to Him.

In the World, but Not of It
Live among people, but do not adopt their values—your roots are in Heaven.

God’s Principle
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

Time Is Mercy
God gives us time to restore our relationship with Him—for eternity, not just for today.

God Hears
“Call to Me, and I will answer you…” (Jeremiah 33:3)

God Shows No Partiality
Before Him there are no “more important” people—everyone is precious and called.

A warning
A proud Christian is someone who knows God but does not allow Him to change their heart.

Humility is not weakness. It is strength that submits to God.
“Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” (1 Peter 5:6)

God lifts up those who bow before Him.
