Dear Beloved, welcome June, our month of Excellence
Excellence is one of our core values in God's Victory Assembly and it is the quality of doing things in an outstanding, diligent, and God-honouring manner. It is not about attaining perfection, but about offering our very best to God in every area of our lives. As believers, excellence reflects the very nature and character of God, whose name is excellent in all the earth (Psalm 8:1). Therefore, we are called to represent Him through lives marked by integrity, diligence, and a commitment to doing what is right.
In the Kingdom of God, excellence is a mark of *spiritual maturity,* faithfulness, and good stewardship. The Bible tells us that Daniel distinguished himself above all others because an excellent spirit was found in him (Daniel 6:3). His commitment to excellence brought him favour, influence, and promotion. In the same way, God expects His children to serve wholeheartedly and to carry out every responsibility as unto the Lord and not unto men (Colossians 3:23).
A lifestyle of excellence enables believers to become effective ambassadors for Christ. It builds trust, strengthens our witness, and brings glory to God. Whether in ministry, family, business, education, or our careers, excellence positions us for greater impact and opens doors to divine opportunities. When we choose excellence, we demonstrate that our service is ultimately unto God and not merely to people.
As we embrace excellence as a kingdom value, let us continually strive to reflect Christ in our character, conduct, and service. May our lives be a testimony of God's greatness, and may everything we do bring honour and glory to His name.
As a member, a church worker or pastoral team, it's our prayer that the spirit of Excellence will follow you.
