✨Fasting and Prayer January 2026✨
"Some tips that will help you have a successful Prayer & Fasting this year"
1. Begin each day with a moment of reflection and thanksgiving. Ask God for strength & focus for the day.
2. Read the days portion of *365 days of Kingdom Exploring (Devotional)* and meditate on the lessons.
3. Pick one or more action points from the devotional that will form the *central prayer point for the day,* and write it somewhere that you can easily see through out the day for a reminder. You may write it on a notepad on your mobile phone.
4. In the middle of the day (maybe during your break time at work or class), take out some time to worship (play a deep worship song if you need to, or lookout some spiritual hymns that can take you deeper😇), *read your Bible using the daily reading plan on the devotional.
5. Go back to the Church's Youtube Channel (cceministries) and replay the Sunday sermon for that week to refresh your mind on what God is saying to you.
6. As you retire from the days activities, before breaking your fast, take a moment to appreciate God for a day well spent, reflecting on any lessons you have learnt today.
7. Reflect on anything that you have done today that brings you joy, for example a soul winning attempt, a discussion, a conversation you had with someone, a problem you were able to solve
8. Take some more time to pray on your reflections (for example, if a problem was unsolved during the day, seek God for wisdom on how to proceed and be expectant to receive a direction from God) with some spiritual worship songs played in the background when necessary.
9. Do your best to avoid unnecessary distractions during those set times of prayer, devotion and reflection. (I encourage to put your devices on silent or flight mode within those moments of consecration)
10. If you practices this consistently during this prayer & fasting period, I assure you that your year will not end empty nor void without God empowering you to greatness.
