The FREE AND INDEPENDENT RABBINICAL COUNCIL OF THE AMERICAS is an international alliance made up of men and women rabbis belonging to the Liberal and Independent Jewish Movement, residing in North America, Central America, South America and the islands of the Caribbean Sea, and graduated mostly from the Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary - EITS.
We have constituted ourselves as a continental rabbinic council:
a. To defend collegially the Liberal and Independent Jewish Movement present in the Americas, as well as the prestige, professionalism and halachic legitimacy of the rabbis members of this Council who are graduates of the Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary - EITS.
b. To promote and defend Human Rights, with special emphasis on all rights derived from religious, conscience and worship freedoms.
