龙华寺位于上海市龙华街道，是上海地区历史最久、规模最大的古刹。龙华寺的名称来源于佛经中弥勒菩萨在龙华树下成佛的典故。据传龙华寺是三国时期孙权为其母所建，距今已有1700多年。
