教会在这个时期进行户外敬拜，很容易被政府或其他不了解的人解读为是要参与到当下敏感的政治活动。09年11月的户外敬拜，基本上没有这种误解的声音；但这一次，特别是在一些外媒的报道中，把守望教会户外敬拜与某种政治运动或某个人的维权活动联系起来的倾向十分明显。对户外敬拜时间的问题，我们只能说，无论是09年还是现在的户外敬拜，时间都不是教会能够选择或决定的。两次都是在有关部门使教会失去室内的聚会场所后，教会被迫做出的一种反应。因为我们不想停止教会的主日聚会；因为我们不想主动地分散聚会。 我们再次表明，守望教会进行户外敬拜，只是出于主日想要在一起进行敬拜这个宗教性的原因，

Dear brothers and sisters,
As you may have heard, in the past two Sundays Shouwang Churched tried to hold outdoor worship services, which were brutally interrupted by the government with police force. Many church members were arrested and detained for up to two days. Prayer request: As a big house church, Shouwang has been praying for its own worship place (by now, we've raised 3/4 of the needed 30 million RMB). Last Sunday we had to move out of our previously rented place (the government had been giving the landlords a lot of pressure), and we held out first outdoor service in the snow. Could you please pray that God will continue being with our church at this challenging time?
