*THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST*
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
*Colossians 1:26-27*
The revelation of Christianity is Christ IN YOU; not in heaven. Don’t start fasting and asking Him to pour something out from heaven; don’t ask Him to give you a blessing from heaven. He’s blessed you already with Himself; with all the blessings that are in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
A "mystery" in Hebrew refers to a secret or hidden truth revealed by God, which was previously concealed.
In Greek, the word for "mystery" is mustḗrion, also referring to a secret or hidden thing, especially a religious secret.
A "mystery" in the Bible therefore represent a secret or hidden truth that God reveals, often with a religious or theological significance.
_To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory_ (Colossians 1:27).
There’re too many Christians who are still ignorant of the Christ in you Reality. They have not yet come to terms with the fact that eternity has been set in their recreated human spirit, so there' re still looking up to God for one blessing or the other.
They’re looking up to God to heal them, to touch them, to provide for them, to answer their prayers, give them directions and guidance . But the truth is, there’s no other blessing that’ll come to you from heaven until the second coming of the Lord Himself.
There’s no prayer that the answer will come to you from heaven. Everything you’d ever need in life is in Christ, and Christ is in you, and to have Christ is to have everything. Colossians 1:27 says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
This is the mystery hidden in ages passed, but now revealed to the saints of God.
Have you been desiring or expecting to see the glory of God revealed in your ministry , your health, business, or family, or finances?
Then look inside you.
The help you need is no longer in a hill, or a particular prayer mountain. Christ has become your very life.
Christ in you is wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption
(1 Corinthians 1:30).
When you need direction or guidance,or wisdom, draw it out through confession, praying in Tongues and meditation.
Is Christ still a mystery to you? For those who use their minds to understand the Lord Jesus, He remains a mystery. The Bible says that Christ is the mystery of God (Col. 2:2). If you know Christ, you know God, but if you do not know Christ, you do not have the key to understand God. Furthermore, if you do not know Christ, you do not know yourself, for Christ is the key both to you and to God. Without Christ, you do not have the way to “get inside” yourself. The unbelievers and sinners are all “outside” of themselves. But when we received Christ, we received the key that opens ourselves up. Now we have a way to enter into ourselves. Also, by receiving Christ we have found the key to understand God's entire plan for humanity .
As we have seen, Christ is the key to get into God. When you have Christ, God is open to you. Christ is the mystery of God. He is the explanation, interpretation, and definition of God. If you know Him, you know God. If you are in Him, you are in God. How wonderful!
Christ in you is your assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory, and dominion. Hallelujah! What you need is to discover Christ in you. What we need is to master the exercise of our human spirit. If Christ isn’t in a man, then his sufferings are justified; his pains are “excusable.” But not so with you; you’ve been brought into the “glory life.” Hallelujah!
*Confession of Faith*
Christ in me, the hope of glory! I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of a life of continuous victory and unending blessings. Hallelujah.
*Thought for the Day*
The revelation of Christianity is Christ IN YOU; not in heaven.
