Meditations with Rev. Abongta Mirabel

Meditations with Rev. Abongta Mirabel We believe in the grace of God. Sinful man can only be saved by the grace of God and not by human standards. It's not too late for God to renew you.

Accept God as your Lord and Saviour today and God's grace will be sufficient for your life. 2 cor 12:9

The Christian hope does not silence sorrow; it holds sorrow within God's presence! What do you think of this in relation to mourning? Should we allow people to mourn their dead for long or do we expect mourning to end after some time?

It's Black History Month and this is one of the most amazing sermons I have heard on Martin Luther King Jr.
The President of my Seminary, Rev. Dr. Kent Millard recounts how even as a white level 2 Seminarian, he became one of King's bodyguards matching with the many thousands and was even privileged to have had a personal discussion with Dr. King.

Watch, listen and remember to like and follow my page for more beautiful events in the future.

A prayer for tomorrow's elections in Cameroon; the land that still has our family members, friends and acquaintances!

'Lord God, as the election approaches, we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront Cameroon and how the Gospel compels people to respond as faithful citizens.

We ask for eyes that are free from blindness so that, we might see each other as brothers and sisters,
one and equal in dignity,
especially those who are victims of war, crises, marginalization, abuse violence, deceit and poverty.

We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned, beaten, chopped, cast away, driven, traumatized, afraid etc.
Men and women oppressed because of language, culture, allegiance, history, religion, profession, office or gender.
We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your Kingdom.

We pray for discernment,
so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word,
live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace; to the land, flowing with milk and honey.

Lord, I stand against any bloodshed of those dear to us and I stand in the gap for those who may already be in harms way because of any natural causes.
Give discernment to our loved ones, to know where to go to, what to say and how to say it.

I declare that this elections will come and go, leaving our loved ones and friends still standing.
I ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.' Amen

SUFFICIENT GRACE

Night Prayer ✝️

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I lay down to rest, I thank You for Your presence in my life. May Your peace and love surround me.

Psalm 4:8 - "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."

Watch over me through the night, and grant me restful sleep. May Your angels guard me and keep me safe.

Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. May tomorrow bring opportunities to serve and glorify You.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen."🙏🏻
