Infertility: A Spiritual Dimension.
One of our core beliefs in Mercy Care Holistic Concept Is that, as humans we are spirit beings living in a body and possessing a soul. And at such, a person with a wounded spirit or a battered soul will eventually become sick in the body. And vice versa. In the case of infertility, whether it is as a result of a natural organ defect or malfunctioning or as a result of some spiritual transaction or activity, it will end up affecting those involved in every area of their lives. Especially if they are from a community where not having children is a very big issue after marriage. A lot of people have fallen victims of “professionals” and charlatans alike who feed on human miseries. They go to these places seeking a solution to their problem, only to end up more crushed than they were before they went there.
I have had to counsel women who were at the verge of leaving their homes because of the trauma they were facing from in-laws and their husbands alike. I have known men who went in and brought in a second wife only to discover that they were the ones with the problem. And usually, whenever a couple is facing the challenge of infertility the first culprit is always the woman until proven otherwise. In some cases, before the discovery that the problem did not lie with her, she would been put through so much emotional stress.
Before blaming anyone male or female for being the cause of their own infertility, take time to understand their problem. And if you can’t do that then pray for them and wish them well, if you can’t do that as well, then let them be.
Because usually there is always more than what meets the eye when dealing with infertility and many other issues in life. And in some cases, there are very potent spiritual dimensions to it. All of which ends up putting so much emotional strain on the relationship of the couples dealing with it. I am presently dealing with the case of a man whose wife left him because he has issues with fertility. And they cannot afford fertility treatment. Last year, we were able to handle the case of a couple that was at the verge of a divorce because the man had infertility issues. The woman said she was tired of waiting, tired of praying, tired of expecting after over ten years of their marriage.
We have met people in our counseling who were experiencing spiritual oppressions that was affecting their ability to procreate. Some will conceive and at a specific period in their pregnancy, they will lose the baby and with no obvious medical reasons.
We are doing these stories to help our clients think outside the box and take proactive measures to solving their problems. And not fall victims to medical charlatans or “spiritual hirelings” who are feeding on people’s miseries. Sometimes people have recognized the fact that they may be dealing with some spiritual factors complicating their options to having children. But then, and usually with the help of friends and family go to places where they further complicate their problems.
SPRIRTS OF PERVERSION
Once the Lord showed me a revelation about a friend of mine in a dream. I saw her making love with another woman. But she was looking miserable. As if she was being forced. Even though there was no obvious sign of it. You could only know by looking at her face. When I woke up, I prayed about it. Asking the Lord what He was saying. He asked me to share what I saw with her. That she will understand. So I met with my friend and told her what I saw and what the Lord said. After listening, she told me she was pregnant. I still couldn’t connect that information with what I saw. So she continued that, she had lost four pregnancies before she had her only child who was a boy. And the miscarriages always happened on the third month of her pregnancy when a woman would forcefully make love to her in her dreams. She went to see a pastor who prayed for her but nothing happened until she got angry one day and cried her heart out to God. That month, she conceived again. And waited. At the exact same period in her pregnancy, the nocturnal visitor came. And she fought with her instead of simply yielding herself to her. That was the pregnancy that stayed. And she had her son. The woman has been trying to do the same with the pregnancy she was carrying. But she has been resisting. I then asked her if she experiences homo erotic feelings in real life. Because spirits of perversion can be very jealous and deadly. If they can’t have what they want. She said she used to. But God delivered her. Obviously, typical of these fallen beings, they don’t ever give up completely. They will keep checking and trying. Looking for broken places in the protective hedges of their victims. We spent some time praying, breaking bondages and disconnecting her from foul spirits of perversion; thanking God for His victory. We give God the glory because my friend as you are reading this write-up is carrying her baby!
As a Faith Based organization, our background is from a Christian perspective. However every human being living on this planet is a potential victim of foul spirits. These spirits have different manifestation for each person. However, all those involved in helping others handle spiritual implications to common life issues will agree that there are some trends that are familiar. The Bible is clear about the fact that there is an ongoing spiritual warfare. And it has nothing with whether one chooses to believe it or not. Increasingly there’s an increase awareness of this reality. But what it has meant for some is to dig into dark spirituality to seek for solutions. Negotiate with the devil as if it were.
Eph 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (KJV)
Just as there are spirits of infirmity causes all kinds of sick conditions, we also have spirits of perversion.
Perversion in simple terms means twisted, distorted, deviation from norm, corrupted. Spirits of perversion work in twisting every good thing God has put in us. And their most common point of operation is in human sexuality with their influences touching on our ability as humans to procreate and the ways we must procreate. It ultimate agenda is to lead humanity as far away from God as possible.
In our medical missionary journey, God has consistently exposed the works of this spirit in the lives of some of our clients and patients. And by His grace we have been able to help each person He brings to us, find deliverance and freedom.
In the story above, when the Lord revealed the situation of my friend to me I didn’t know that she was pregnant and under the oppression of one of this spirit who have been responsible in the past to destroy and kill her unborn children. God had freed her. She was surrounded by some people who were provoking her sexually. It meant that her defense might become weak and thus opening a doorway for the spirit to re invade her life. God was helping her re enforce her hedge of protection. And we’re so thrilled to share this story of her victory.

Those who become overcome by these spirits of perversion, give themselves up to diverse sexual appetites. For some of them, it might mean never having kids. Except if the children will be allow to also be whatever they chose to be under the same influence. For some, their demands does not include not having kids.
So many people are dealing with these issues these days because there’s an increase in their activities among humans. And also because so many people have allowed their hedges of protection to be broken. Thereby allow into themselves access by these spirits. It is a deep issue. Some women will go to any length to have a baby even if they will be hurt in the process. But the pain of it is that, most of the time; they are not to blame for their predicament.
