Thanks giving is the intentional acknowledgement, and the appreciation of God's goodness, works, character, express through words, and character

It is a gateway into his presence
Key things to note about thanks giving.
1. Thanks giving is a command and not an option (Colossians 3:15)
(Ephesians 5:20)
2. Thanks giving is an act of obedience
3 . Thanks giving acknowledges God as the source (James:1:17)

*Ungratefulness leads to pride
*Ungrateful people will always result to nothing in life.
4. Thanks giving is a sacrifice: True thanks giving is given even when circumstances are unfavorable.

Peace is a sense of completeness wholeness well being tranquility and a good relationship with God even in the midst of conflicts and challenges.

The state of your peace is actually tested in the midst of the storm. ( how will you you have peace unless you are in a stormy situation)

✓Everyone is supposed to depend on God for Their peace. Men are unstable and so are their emotions and love or peace they give towards other men.
(Galatians 5:22) Peace is a fruit of the spirit reason being that it's something you need to build
**Our Joy shouldn't be weighed or conditioned by just physical things.

MORAL LESSON
✓Stop worrying about things you cannot control.
*The Peace you refuse to create today, will become the storm that will swallow you tomorrow.
* When you walk with God, you will notice that you cannot love and hate at the same time.

THINGS THAT HINDERS PEACE
1. Jealousy takes away peace (inner peace) This always leads to silent competition and unnecessary pressure. Always wanting to do all you can to meet up.
2. Unforgivesness: Living in unforgivieness makes you sick. Forgiveness is not for the other person but to you.
If you don’t show mercy, mercy will escape you when you need it.
3. Lack of money (external peace)

How do you find peace?
1. Through Christ (Mathew 6:33), Ephesians 2:16, Isaiah 9:6
2. Through his word
3. Through healing from trauma. True healing gives you peace in and out.

What does it mean to be renewed?
✓To renew means to replace, refresh, tranform or make new commitments.
*Renewing is a process and not a one time event

REASONS WHY IT'S NECESSARY TO UNDERSTAND THIS TEACHING
1. Salvation changes your spirit instantly but your mind is being renewed over time (John 3:6), 1Corinthians 5:17)
A renewed mind is a foundation for spiritual and physical success, character fulfillment .
Why must a believer renew their minds?
1.Your mind determines the outcome of your life (Romans 8:5)

✓The product of God is man (Genesis 1:26-28)

2. Because the mind is a battle field of spiritual warfare
