Prayers part 1
*Prayer is the willful act of talking to the sacred or higher power.
* In Christianity,prayer is a deliberate act of talking to our sovereign God.
* Many times people say they don't know how to pray and I ask myself can these people gist? if you can gist my dear that means you can pray . prayers is communicating with God.
* prayer becomes effective when there's consistency and persistency ( Luke 18:1-8,Acts 10:3-4). As a Christian you need to grow up to the level where even if your mouth is too busy to talk to God , your heart will keep on talking to him e.g a lecturer that is in class talking with his students.
* Grow up to the level where even if your hands,legs and any other parts of your body are busy ,your mind and heart are in deep fellowship with him. Tell yourself,when the big parts of me are busy let the little parts of me keep talking to God and when the little ones are busy let the big parts of me keep on talking to God. Talk to God about that situation until he becomes tired of hearing your voice . Let your voice keep echoing in his ears even when you are asleep. Remind him of your affliction and what he says against afflictions like in Psalms 3:2 .
