The Battles of a Leader
In Luke 22 Bible says Jesus withdraw from his disciples and cried on to God that if it be his will let the cup be taken away from him. Of course he knew that was the father’s will for him but his strength was failing, his flesh was speaking but he never gave up. He withdrew from his disciples because he never wanted them to see that weak part of him. Leaders go through all of this on daily bases. They shed tears in secret just like Jesus did, they become weak.At times some one steps in for prayers while you are in real pains, but at that point you got to clean your eyes and face to attain to them.You lay hands on them while in pain and they think you are just fine. Pray for your leaders. They go through battles you can’t imagine but they still come before you with a smile, they console you, they try to encourage you, they minister to you, they receive most of the bullets meant a for you. Who do they have in return? Your leader needs you to pray for him.They make sure they give in their best but most at times all you do is criticize, throw stones on them because you think they are not doing enough.Only those under his roof can know a a little of his story, yes I say a little because you can only know what he permits you to know even though you are under his roof.
I remember this particular day, i was a tough one for me and I felt broken. This faithful day some few sisters walked in for prayers. Deep in me while in my room I was asking God why he allowed them to come🤔. Truth is I never had the strength to do anything, I was in pain but I cleaned myself, wore a smile and went out to the living room to meet them. I spoke with them laying hands. The power of God moved and they left smiling but none knew I was in pain, none knew I needed help too.A leader leaves his family in pain behind and comes to agree with you for divine intervention in your own family🤔
Leaders play strong even when they are very broken. It took just a lot for the slave girl in Naaman’s house to know that the great General was suffering from a deadly ailment.
God bless our leaders, God strengthen them, and fight their secret battles for them in Jesus’ name
