God often reveals Himself in the ordinary moments of life. A bush on fire may seem insignificant, but when Moses turned aside to investigate, he encountered the extraordinary presence of God.

B. The symbolism of fire:

Fire represents God's holiness and His refining and purifying work. The burning bush serves as a powerful image of God's presence and His desire to meet with Moses.

II. God's Call and Our Response (Exodus 3:4-6):

A. God calls us by name:

Just as God called Moses by name, He knows us intimately and calls us according to His purpose. We are not insignificant; we are chosen and called by the Almighty.

B. Removing our shoes:

Jesus reminds us that it is not by our own merit or efforts that we are chosen. God takes the initiative to select and call us according to His perfect will and purpose.

B. A personal and intentional choice:

Each one of us is chosen individually by God. He knows us intimately, and His selection is deliberate and purposeful.

II. The Scope of Our Commission (John 15:16b):

A. Bearing fruit:
