🛑*NOTION DE VEILLEUR/ SENTINELLE*

Le Mot *Veilleur ou Sentinelle* est utilisé pour désigner la vigilance spirituelle, la prière constante et la protection divine.

👉🏽Ésaïe 62:6 BFC
[6] Sur tes murailles, Jérusalem, j'ai placé des veilleurs. Ils ne devront jamais se taire, ni le jour ni la nuit. «Vous qui rappelez au Seigneur le souvenir de Jérusalem, ne faites aucune pause.

✍️ Nous voyons ici l'image d'une intercession continue. Ils ne se tairont jamais pour rappeler au Seigneur de se souvenir d'eux.

✍️ Le Seigneur Jésus-Christ dit dans Matthieu 26:41: veillez et priez. Ici il fait appel à la vigilance personnelle. Car si nous ne veillons pas nous surcomberont à la tentation.
👉🏽Matthieu, 26:41 - Veillez et priez, afin que vous ne tombiez pas dans la tentation; l`esprit es bien disposé, mais la chair est faible.

🛑Les Contexte de veilleurs.
👉🏽Les Sentinelles : les veilleurs étaient placés sur les murs pour guetter l'ennemi.

👉🏽Dieu comme veilleurs : Jérémie 1:12 indique que Dieu veille sur sa parole pour l'accomplir.

👉🏽les veilles de prière: la bible mentionne les moments spécifiques de la nuit pour veiller et prier.

🛑Je viens t'exhorter de veiller non seulement sur toi par la prière mais aussi sur tes enfants, tes entreprises, tes finances.
🔥Que le Dieu qui veille d'accord la grâce et la capacité d'etre un veilleur au nom puissant de Jésus-Christ.

The bible say in John 1:7 that he came as witness to testify about the light, so that through him everyone might believe.

✍️ John bore witness about the Lord Jesus Christ, so that through him the world might believe.

👉May God raise up someone to bear witness to you in the name of Jesus
👉 Someone will testify to your faithfulness, so that people may believe in you in the name of Jesus Christ.
👉 Someone will testify about your behavior, your work, your ministries in Jesus mighty name I pray

🛑 *NOTION OF IMITATION*

1 Corinthians 11:1 - Be imitators of me, even as I am of Christ.

➡️ The word "imitate" comes from the Latin "imitari", meaning
👉replaying by imitation,
👉represent or be like...
👉Produce the same effect as...

➡️A is:
👉a person who imitates the actions, behavior or work of others
👉A person who replicates the conduct of a leader, a role model, a relative...
👉A person who follows in the footsteps of a model.

⛔In our dispute the apostle Paul asks Christians about his leadership to imitate him as he himself imitates Christ as his leader.

✍️ We understand from here that to be a good leader, an imitator...
1️⃣ you need to have a role model,
This one can be your spiritual parents, role model in the faith, mentor etc..

2️⃣ You have to follow and practice the instructions coming from him:
John, 13:16 -17: Truly, truly, I say to you, the servant is not greater than his master, nor the messenger greater than the one who sent him. If you know these things, you are happy provided you practice them.

3️⃣ You need to see, learn, receive and hear what the leader does.
Philippians 4:9 - Whatever you have learned and heard from me and seen in me, practice it. And the God of peace will be with you.
🔸 Imitate his way of acting,
👉His behavior
👉 His preferences etc...

4️⃣ You have to follow in the footsteps of the leader.
1 Peter, 2:21 - And to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his footsteps,
🔸 Suffering should in no case be an opportunity for us to refrain from following our leader's footsteps.

5️⃣ You need to learn to speak in the same language with your leader.
Matthew, 26:73 - Little after that, those who were there, standing near, said to Peter, Surely you are also one of these people, for your language shall recognize you.
👉Here the language of the apostle Peter had betrayed him that day. So much the apostles had imitated the Lord Jesus Christ, to the extent of their manner of expressing themselves.

⛔In conclusion, the Bible tells us to imitate only the good, because there is a heritage that was left to us.

3 John 1:11 - Beloved, do not imitate evil, but do good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen God.
