Pastor Emmanuel, son of Apostle Ernest Ndifon, ministered on the message titled "Repentance." Quoting Matthew 4:17, he explained that repentance is the key to manifesting the glory of God. When we talk about repentance, we mean a complete turnaround.

It is not a word for people who do not know Christ or for those in the world who have not heard of Jesus. Rather, repentance concerns those who have given their lives to Christ, acknowledge Him, and recognize that they have sinned. Such people can repent, and that is why you must repent. Repentance is a word for me and you in Christ. Luke 1:15-17 shows that repentance is for those who have given their lives to Christ and acknowledge Him as Savior. Repentance means turning away from your sins and accepting the Lord as your personal Lord and Savior.

Stages of Repentance (1 Peter 4:17). There are two stages of repentance: Leaving darkness for the light, and Obeying the will of God. The Bible says that when you give your life to Christ, the new comes and the old passes away. The first stage is leaving darkness for the light by accepting God as your personal Lord and Savior. The second stage is doing His will in order to have eternal life. Repentance is not for the people of the world, but for those who know the truth and have accepted Him as their Savior. Accepting Christ and repenting is not enough; it must be followed by doing His will. The first stage is confessing Him as personal Lord and Savior; this is because repentance is a continuous process. If you come closer to Him, you will know Him more, and you will see more of your errors. Your mouth will be filled with prayers of repentance, that is, the prayer of mercy.

Message title: The Mercy and Favour of God
Scripture: Romans 9:6-16
Ministering: Apostle Ernest Ndifon

Mercy involves withholding the punishment someone deserves, and Favour implies unmerited blessing from God and men. Favour puts you in front, but mercy helps maintain what you have. As much as you ask God for favour, also ask Him for mercy. Let us not be afraid to ask God for grace and mercy. Hebrews 4:16 tells us to approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in times of need.

God's favour is already upon us, and to activate it, we must give ourselves to the following:
1. Prayer (Nehemiah 1:11) - Just as Nehemiah cried to the Lord to activate mercy, we must go before Him and ask Him to show us mercy.
2. Wisdom (Luke 2:52) - Jesus grew in stature and wisdom, gaining favour with God and men. To gain favour, we must study and acquire skills, and then ask for God's favour.
3. Reference for men (Genesis 41:14) - No matter how you pray for favour, appear before men in a decent way, just like Ruth who appeared appealing to Boaz, and Esther who dressed decently to meet the king.
4. Be good to people (Proverbs 12:2) - Learn to humble yourself and learn how to respect people. A good man obtains favour from God, but the Lord condemns the crafty.

As much as we seek favour, let us desire God's mercy too in our lives. Favour puts you in front, but mercy keeps you going. To activate God's mercy, we must pay attention to:
1. Prayer - No matter how your sins are red as crimson, pray and ask God, and He will show you mercy.
2. Confess your sins (Proverbs 28:13) - The power of sin is in secrecy; if you want to obtain God's mercy, confess your sins.
3. Be merciful (Matthew 5:7) - Forgive the wrongs of others, and God will forgive you too.
4. Your service to the Lord - Hezekiah served God faithfully, and through it, God showed him mercy and added many more years to his life. The service you render to the Lord is a tool God can use to show you mercy.

According to the message "A LEADER", Apostle Ernest Ndifon draws scriptural references from Numbers 14:1-4. The scripture recounts Israel's rebellion and loss of faith, fearing the Canaanites and wanting to return to Egypt. They rebelled against Moses and Aaron, questioning God's plan and preferring death in Egypt over potential defeat in Canaan.

A leader is someone who guides people towards a purpose. Nowadays, we choose leaders based on appearance, not character or capabilities. Some choose leaders for their wealth, social standing, integrity, or age. People of the world choose by sight, not spirit. God's purpose for you may differ from your own will. Seek discernment to understand God's plan. A true leader corrects you when wrong and listens to struggles. Follow a leader who'll give an account to God for your spiritual growth.

We often prioritize appearances and human wisdom, just like Israel did, overlooking God's presence and focusing on obstacles. This leads us to choose leaders who cater to our desires rather than God's truth. Seek leaders with spiritual insight who'll guide you through challenges, reflect God's character, and prioritize His purpose. Pray for discernment to choose leaders who lead you closer to God, not astray, your spiritual growth depends on it.
