Taking the Gospel Beyond the Church Walls

Today, we gather in Church for our weekly evangelism program. We began with prayers and a time of meditation, preparing our hearts and seeking God’s guidance for the outreach ahead.

Afterwards, the evangelism team went out into the community to share the love of Christ, encourage people, and proclaim the Good News. It was a beautiful reminder that evangelism is not only about being in church—it is about taking Christ’s message beyond the church walls and reaching people where they are.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

A special Sunday today as we celebrated all those who passed their GCE Exams. Both in Jourdain parish and Ebenezer Community UMC.

We continue with the series on the kingdom of God.

The sermon, “The Kingdom of God Is Worth Everything,” based on Matthew 13:31–33, 44–52, teaches that God’s Kingdom is the greatest treasure anyone can possess. It is not merely a religion or denomination but God’s government under the eternal rule of Jesus Christ. The Kingdom begins with small beginnings, grows beyond expectation, and transforms lives from within. Like the hidden treasure and pearl of great price, it is worth every sacrifice. Believers are reminded that church membership, baptism, or attendance alone is insufficient; God examines the heart, and final judgment will separate the righteous from the wicked. Christians are called to share the Gospel and faithfully serve God despite difficulties, trusting that He works all things for good. Romans 8 assures believers that nothing can separate them from Christ’s love. The sermon concludes by urging Christians to value Christ above worldly possessions, remain faithful, share the Gospel, and surrender fully to God’s Kingdom.

A Special Prayer of Blessing for Our Three GMFs 🙏

Rev. Nzie Rosalyn offered a special prayer of blessing for our three Global Mission Fellows (GMFs).

We pray that God will continue to guide, strengthen, protect, and use them mightily as they serve and share His love. May their journey be fruitful, and may their lives continue to be a blessing to the Church and to the communities they serve.

May God go before you, walk with you, and accomplish His purpose through you. Amen! 🙏✨
