Proof Text: Mathew 25:14-30
Brethren, When God created the universe and every mankind, He created man in His own image and with different capacity.
God has given each and everyone of us different talents according to our capacities.
In the parable of the three talents in the above scripture, Jesus Christ wishes and expects all of us to use the gifts He has given to us with seriousness, just like the servants with 5 and 2 talents. He urges us to keep away pride and jealousy like the servant with one talents and rather concentrate with the gift that God has given us.
The master in the above text signifies Jesus Christ, the talents represent different gifts that He has given to each and everyone of His children, the servants represent the children of God whom God has given different capacities , the journey represent the time that He has given us here on earth to manifest the various gifts given to us, and the return of the master represents the coming back of Jesus Christ.
So do not underestimate your talents, because when you fail to activate it, the Lord will take it away from you and add onto the one who had more, and handled it well, and at the end, your place will be the lake of fire( verse 30).
I pray today, that as you make use of your gift to serve God in humility and faithfulness, more will be added onto you and heaven will be your portion in the mighty name of Jesus Christ...AMEN.
