CHURCH, RISE AND BE THE VOICE OF JUSTICE!
The Church was never called to be silent in the face of evil. She was ordained by God to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13–14) — a moral compass and prophetic voice in a decaying world. The Church is meant to echo the heartbeat of heaven: to stand for truth, proclaim justice, rebuke sin, and call both the oppressed and the oppressor to repentance.
Yet today, silence has become the song of the sanctuary. Many pulpits that were once aflame with truth now whisper comfort to corruption. Instead of confronting wickedness, some church leaders dine with it. Instead of rebuking the ungodly, some now bless them with their presence and prayers. It is heartbreaking to hear that some shepherds have been bribed to stay quiet while the nation bleeds — while elections are rigged, results are falsified, and the cries of the poor are ignored.
Where is the prophetic voice that once thundered like Elijah before Ahab? Where are the courageous men and women who will say, “Thus says the Lord,” even if it costs them their position or popularity? The Church must rise again — rise above political entanglements, rise above fear, rise above compromise.
This is the hour for the Church to cry out against injustice, to speak for the voiceless, to expose corruption, and to call every sinner — including corrupt leaders — to repentance. For if the Church loses her voice, the world loses her hope.
Church, awake! Lift your voice again! Let righteousness roll on like a river, and justice like a never-failing stream (Amos 5:24). The Church was not anointed to lick the oil of corruption, but to burn with the fire of holiness and truth!
