Topic: Relationship the key to open doors
Text: psalms 68:6
Luke 17:17
POINT TO NOTE;
1) Family is part of what makes union and relationship.
2) If we must grow in life we must learn to value relationship.
3) No one comes to yourself for no reason.All came for a reason,either positive or negative.
4) Value everyone in your life no matter thier status.
5) Relationship with men is more valuable than money, it is stronger than wealth. Because when a man falls he need the help of a man.
*WHAT IS RELATIONSHIP
It is the way in which 2 or more people are connected
*TYPES OF RELATIONSHIP
1) Blood Relationship
2) Relationship without blood
* WHAT IS FRIENDSHIP
1) Those that can have endured intimacy
2) Endures esteem (respects you no matter what)
3) Endures trust
*ILLUSTRATION OF RELATIONSHIP
*GOD TO MAN AND MAN TO MAN;
From the very beginning,right from creation God created man to have relationship and fellowship with him.....right in the garden of Eden God wanted to have relationship and fellowship with Adam,,and later created Eve so that Adam can also have a companion.....man is to relate with God and also relate with one another in love.
When God relates with man,(1Corinthians 13) God wants you to relate with others and if you can't relate with others Christianity is in vain
Like in the story of Abraham and Lot, Abraham was very patient and also let go of his pride and right ( Abraham was like a father to Lot) and allowed Lot to choose first so for any relationship to work there are things we most let go and also in that relationship Abraham learnt to forgive because he interceded for Lot when God wanted to destroy S***m and Gomorrah, Abraham didn't think about the query his henchmen and Lot's henchmen had but instead interceded for Lot.
*TWO THINGS THAT CAN DESTROY A RELATIONSHIP
1) PRIDE;
NOTE:
One of the highest thing that destroy a relationship is pride.
*Do you know that somebody can really genuinely want to relate with you but because of your pride (wealth, academic status and level) you send the person away.
*Sometimes people want to relate with you but you think they are coming to you because of you money. They are people who don't have money to give you but thier instructions, advice and even thier connections with other people can help you.
2) WRONG ADVISERS;
NOTE:
*Be careful with whom you carry your problems to because they can give you a bad advise which might benefit them.
-For example advising you to leave your home
Just because they want to take your place.
And lastly build up your relationship by always appreciating each other
Husband's learn to appreciate your wife and wife learn to appreciate your husbands too.
