Message : Come Back Home by Apostle Richard.
Text : Luke 15 : 11 - 24
Today message is all about the parable of the lost son ( the Prodigal son). Jesus uses this parable to demonstrate the open heart a father has to His son. When the son realized that he has sin against God and his farther he said to himself , I will go back home and beg my father that am not worthy to be his son but take me as one of your workers.
People of God this is all God requires from us a humble and a sincere heart. ( 1st Peter 5 :5 ) The prodigal son acknowledged that he has sin against God and his farther and was able to submit to his farther not as a son anymore but as one of his workers. That is the broken heart that God requires from us ( humility). ( Psalm 51: 16-17 ). People of God life is not easy outside but very easy in the presence of God. Remember God always have something better for us because when the prodigal son arrived, the father said to his workers bring him the best dress, best shoes and the best ring because he was lost, dead but now he is alive. Note that there is always something reserve for us by our father, all we need to do is to come back home. Children of God, go back home and creat an atmosphere of humbleness and a broken heart and God will hear you. ( Isaiah 1 : 18 ) . Beloved in the lord let us go back to Christ , He is ready to receive us. Our doors can not be open until we make peace with God. For God to bless us we must separate ourselves from sin else our miracles will never come. The man of God worn that there is no better life outside but in Christ. God is too faithful to fail us just come home and He will bless you because He can't bless us in sin except those who have identified themselves with Him. Do not forget that He knows all we do in secret. Children of God come back home because there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repent just like the prodigal son.
