Prayer for Our Children as They Resume School
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of our children and for bringing them safely to another school year. As they resume school, we commit them into Your mighty hands.
Lord, go before them and guide their steps. Protect them from accidents, sickness, bad influences, violence, and every danger. Surround them with Your angels wherever they go.
Give them wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and a teachable spirit. Help them to pay attention in class, understand what they are taught, and remember what they learn. Let them excel academically and develop good character.
Father, connect them with good teachers, responsible friends, and positive influences. Keep them away from friends and environments that could lead them astray. Give them courage to stand for what is right.
We pray for their teachers and school administrators. Give them patience, wisdom, dedication, and the ability to guide our children well.
May this new academic year be a year of growth, excellence, protection, favor, and great testimonies. May our children return home safely every day, and may none of them be lost or harmed.
As Your Word says:
“For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” Psalm 91:11
We declare that our children are protected, guided, blessed, and destined for greatness. Their going out and coming in shall be preserved.
