Lekki ‘98, The First Holy Ghost Festival (Now Holy Ghost Congress) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) tagged: 'Divine Visitation' is held at Lekki Beach in Lagos State, Nigeria with Pastor Adeboye ministering alongside other anointed men of God from within and outside the RCCG. It was a one-night open-air vigil program expected to host 3 million people. By midnight, CNN had an estimate of about 7.2 million people in attendance while the Church estimated 6.5 million.
There were 80,000 ushers and 1,500 man choir at the program. From a one-night program in Lekki 1998, it became a 3-day program and today, it is a week-long program held annually in the month of December at the Redemption City.
