“AS HE IS SO ARE WE” (05-09-23) Topic: “ESCATOLOGY IN THE 21st CENTURY!”~2
-----------------------------------------------------------
This week’s episode was part 2 of our topic, “ESCHATOLOGY IN THE 21st CENTURY!”
● Ephesians 1:4 (TPT) says, “And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.”
● This verse spells out the destiny of creation with began at the beginning of time, and begin from the mind or opinion of God. Predestination is define as the divine foreordaining of all that will happen, especially with regard to the salvation of some and not others. Father-God predestined us to be His very own, and spoke us into existence as the likeness of Himself.
● So, when we talk about what Eschatology is, I think it is also important to know how much we understand about it. According to www.wikipedia.com, the Etymology of the word “Eschatology” arises from an ancient Greek term meaning “last,” and -logy, meaning “the study of,” and first appeared in English around 1844. However, will there be an “end-time” or a “last-days” in our future?
● When we talk about the end of things, whether the end of an individual life, the end of the age, or the end of the world, has been known to refer to what is called, Christian eschatology. Christian eschatology is the study of the destiny of humans as it is revealed in the Bible.
● Here are two other views of what others have to say about eschatology.
● 1) PRETERISM: “Preterism is a Christian eschatological view that interprets some (partial-preterism) or all (full-preterism) prophecies of the Bible as events which have already happened. This school of thought interprets the Book of Daniel as referring to events that happened from the 7th century BC until the first century AD, while seeing the prophecies of Revelation as events that happened in the first century AD.”
● 2) HISTORICISM: “Historicism, a method of interpretation of biblical prophecies, associates symbols with historical persons, nations or events. It can result in a view of progressive and continuous fulfillment of prophecy covering the period from biblical times to the Second Coming. Most Protestant Reformers from the Reformation into the 19th century held historicist views.”
● The fact is that many people believe in an end-time, or an end-of-time, but that does not look like a loving God who created us and filled us with His life, so that we can live. When I think about Eschatology, I want to know what God has predestination us for, I wonder about what are we able to be apprehended of the destiny set for us from eternity past. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

-----------------------------------------------------------
What about Eschatology, and how much do you understand about the “so called” “end-time” events? Does this cause you to be fearful, or do you embrace the idea that some form of “end-time” is inevitable and that there is no way of escape? The fact is that the Apostle Paul had a different idea about the end of times.
● Ephesians 3:20-21 (TPT) says, “20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. 21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!”
● Ephesians 3:21 (KJV) says, “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
● In Ephesians chapter 3, the translators believe that Paul was teaching the believers in Ephesus about the Mystery of God, and how it has been revealed to us. So, what does Paul mean by the mystery of God, in regard to the phrase, “world without end?” In some preceding verses, he expresses appreciation about the Mystery of God as he says the following.
● Ephesians 3:14-18 (TPT) says, “14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, 15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. 16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. 17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. 18-19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude {or, excellence} of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!”
● When verse 15 says, “the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth,” the Aramaic could translate this to read, “the perfect Father of every people group.” This footnote says that “The Greek word for “father” and the word for “family” are quite similar, which indicates that every family finds its source in the Father.” So, how does the understanding that God-in-us as the Father, who is the source of all, and our eternal family, impact our perspective on whether we face a world that ends or a world without end?
● From Wikipedia.com, the Etymology of the word “Eschatology” arises from the Ancient Greek term ἔσχατος (éschatos), meaning “last”, and -logy, meaning “the study of”, and first appeared in English around 1844. The Oxford English Dictionary defines eschatology as “the part of theology concerned with death, judgment, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind.”
● So, whether you believe in an “end-time,” the “last-of-days,” or the “final-destiny of the soul,” eschatological expectations seem to invoke the thought of the end of the present age, human history, or of the world itself. The end of the world or end times is predicted by several world religions, which teach that negative world events will reach a climax.
● Can our God be characterized as a Father who seeks vengeance against those who haven't followed His teachings, or is He a loving and compassionate Father who guides us towards the light and has a plan for our salvation that we may not yet understand? I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

“AS HE IS SO ARE WE” (02-21-23)
● Panel: Dr. Cindye Coates, Dr. Faye Hanshew, Dr. Christopher Anderson, Sis Cindy Quarles, Apostle Daniel Williams
● Topic: “OPERATING IN SUPERNATURAL WISDOM”-3
--------------------------------------------------
This week’s episode was part 3 and the conclusion of our topic, “OPERATING IN SUPERNATURAL WISDOM!”
● Ephesians 1:20-23 (TPT) says, “20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him {or, seated Him, meaning, enthroned} to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm {used as at His right hand}! 21 And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age {Aramaic, universe}, but in the age that is coming! 22 And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given him the highest rank above all others. 23 And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it!”
● From Ephesians 1:20-23 we will see how Christ is a picture of our eternal seating or position as eternal spirit-beings. In verse 20, the word “exalted” is also interpreted as “enthroned” which is a word used when a monarch is set into their place to rule. The Greek word here is kathizō {kăth–ēdd’–zō} interpreted as to sit down or to settle down. While the English Bible points this action as toward Christ, this recorded event must not take away from the fact that Jesus is the Eternal Christ who has always been God from before the foundation of the universe.
● When it comes to being at the right hand of the Godhead, that includes Jesus as God, therefore, the term “at His right hand” is “a metaphor for the place of honor and authority.” This concept of being “seated” is a reference of our eternal position of our true origin as eternal beings created in the Image and Likeness of the Godhead. As far as everything being “beneath the authority of Jesus Christ,” “both Greek and Aramaic texts use the figure of speech “under his feet,” which means He has conquered, subdued, and now rules over them,” which again is an eternal position and not a new position.
● 1 Corinthians 15:14 (TPT) says, “And if Christ has not been raised, all of our preaching has been for nothing and your faith is useless.”
● Keep in mind that Christ does not rule because of the grave otherwise that would take away from His eternalness. Again, Ephesians 1:21 says, “And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age {Aramaic, universe}, but in the age that is coming!”
● A footnote from TPT says, “According to ancient thinking, the “right hand” was associated with closeness and power. Placing Jesus at this symbolic location implies Christ's supremacy, authority, and ability.” So again, Christ is a picture of you and me as eternally seated in the same position as the Godhead. Now, as the church, we are the earthly body of Christ in this earthly realm, and we are “that which fills Him who is being filled by it,” meaning, “we are those who are filled (completed) by Christ,” as we complete Him even as He completes us.
● 1 Timothy 3:15 (TPT) says, “But if I’m delayed in coming, you’ll already have these instructions on how to conduct the affairs of the church of the living God, his very household and the supporting pillar and firm foundation of the truth.”
● My thoughts are that I do not embrace the idea that a believer in Christ MUST attend a church congregation, but only that it is healthy to the advancement and wellbeing of believers to be a part of a local fellowship group in some way.
● The bottom line is that you are in Christ and of Christ, as well as filled with His wisdom, purpose, and His full revelation and therefore you are enabled to Operate in the Spiritual Wisdom of the Fullness of the Godhead. Also know that the book of Ephesians chapter one is filled with some of the most profound information in scripture that speaks to people from most all translations and versions of scripture.
● The Eternal Christ alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church, which is the people of His creation and not a building. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

"THE BOOK OF JOSHUA ~ a Type & Shadow” A-072 (01-11-2023) Joshua 15:12-19
------------------------------------------------------
This week’s episode was lesson #72 from Joshua 15:12-16 as we continue in this study.
● Joshua 15:13 (New English Translation) says, “Caleb son of Jephunneh {yᵊp̄unnê, yĕf–ōwn–nĕh’} was assigned Kiriath Arba (that is Hebron) within the tribe of Judah, according to the LORD’s instructions to Joshua. (Arba was the father of Anak.)”
● From www.preceptaustin.org (v.13) commentator Dale Ralph David titles Joshua 15:13-19 as, “A Paradigm of Vigorous Faith” saying, “Caleb’s faith in action becomes a paradigm for Israel; here is the way the initial conquest is to be followed up. Certainly it is a fearful assignment. What could be more formidable than combat with Sheshai, Ahiman, Talmai and their clans? After all, Anak and invincible were supposedly synonymous. But see how the God who promises a secure inheritance enables a clan to obtain it when they are willing to risk obedience to his promise. (Joshua: No Falling Words).” The word “paradigm” is defined as a typical example of pattern of something; as in a model.
● Joshua 15:14 (NET) says, “Caleb drove out {or, dispossessed} from there three Anakites—Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, descendants of Anak.”
● A commentators thought here points out saying, “Take possession of MANSOUL! Don't delay! Don't procrastinate! Don't prevaricate! Just do it!” For me, that MANSOUL is better rendered as the Soul of Man, or the Soul within Mankind. If you are “slaying” or “killing” of the MANSOUL were possible, then this must be referring to the “slaying” or “killing” of unrenewed thinking that opposes the Christ-mind or mind of God that was created within you from eternity past.
● Joshua 15:15 (NET) says, “From there he attacked the people of Debir. (Debir used to be called Kiriath Sepher.)”
● A commentators thought, “Got any “Canaanites” in your list of fleshly sins that you thought you had conquered, only to find them rearing their ugly head again, sometimes (probably usually) even launching “surprise attacks?” The issue of sin, from the Greek word hamartia meaning mistaken identity is where the mind of flesh which is without divine influence seems to rage a war-like attack against truth.
● Joshua 15:16 (NET) says, “Caleb said, “To the man who attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher I will give my daughter Achsah as a wife.”
● What I am seeing here is that sometimes one type of thought seems to be connected or married as it were to another type of thought, which seems to fortify thoughts or unite thoughts. Just because thoughts that are not in line with the Christ-mind seem to be strong, does not detour your created position as conqueror, and not because you need to conquer anything, but simply that is who you are and therefore you stand that created status as the victor.
● Joshua 15:17 (NET) says, “When Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, captured it, Caleb gave Achsah his daughter to him as a wife.”
● From www.Gotquestion.org they say, “Important lessons learned from the life of Othniel include the influence of family, the role of the Holy Spirit in empowering a person’s life, and the tremendous value of godly leadership in keeping peace among a community of people.”
● Joshua 15:18 (NET) says, “One time Achsah {Heb. she} came and charmed her father {Heb. him} so that she could ask him for some land. When she got down from her donkey, Caleb said to her, “What would you like?”
● There were some great examples of the character of the Lord in the Old Testament. Honor, character, and credibility are excellent mannerisms for the nature of Christ that we exhibit today.
● Joshua 15:19 (NET) says, “She answered, “Please give me a special present. Since you have given me land in the Negev, now give me springs of water.” So he gave her both the upper and lower springs.”
● The bottom line is that when realize who you are, enter into the seventh-day rest of the Father, and never leave that place called home again, but simply stay in rest, even as you continue to renew your unrenewed thoughts in the land of the Christ-mind where you belong. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

"THE BOOK OF JOSHUA ~ a Type & Shadow” A-062 (10-05-22) Joshua 13:1-6
-----------------------------------------------------------
This week’s episode was lesson #62 from Joshua 13:1-6 as we continue in this study.
● Joshua 13:1 (New English Translation) says, “When Joshua was very old, the LORD told him, “You are very old, and a great deal of land remains to be conquered.”
● Now, there is no condemnation intended to those who retire, but I’m sure your life is not over and remains of great value to the kingdom of God being expanded in the earth, even if you sit at home and broadcast or teach the gospel on the internet to the nations.
● Joshua 13:2 (NET) says, “This is the land that remains: all the territory of the Philistines and all the Geshurites,”
● Let me remind you that this story here in the book of Joshua is being used to identify with the wandering tribes of Canaan, as an allegorical picture of the wandering tribes or thoughts within the soul of mankind. Therefore, whether thoughts have the center focus of your attention, or even if they dwell on the outskirts of your thinking, still yet all unrenewed thoughts must be renewed and be taken captive and brought into alignment with the Christ-mind of who you were created as from before time began.
● Joshua 13:3 (NET) says, “from the Shihor River east of Egypt northward {Heb. in front of} to the territory of Ekron (it is regarded as Canaanite territory), including the area belonging to the five Philistine lords who ruled in Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron, as well as Avvite land”
● From a translator’s note (tn) the Hebrew says, “the Shihor” {šîḥôr, shēē–khŏre’}; the word “River” is not in the Hebrew text, but has been supplied to clarify the meaning.
● Joshua 13:4 (NET) says, “to the south {or, from Temen}; all the Canaanite territory, from Arah in the region of Sidon to Aphek, as far as Amorite territory;”
● Finally, pertaining to “the region of Sidon to Aphek, as far as Amorite territory,” a translator’s note (tn) says that the Hebrew renders this as “which belongs to the Sidonians.” But also, Canaan is an allegory or a type & shadow for the wandering thoughts within the soul of mankind.
● Joshua 13:5 (NET) says, “the territory of Byblos and all Lebanon to the east, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo Hamath.”
● The territory of Byblos, from a translator’s note (tn) says the Hebrew renders this as “and the land of the Gebalites.” The phrase, {lēbō–hĕmăth} from a translator’s note (tn) says, “the entrance to Hamath.” Most modern translations take the phrase “Lebo Hamath {lēbō–hĕmăth}” to be a proper name, but often provide a note with the alternative, where “Hamath” is the proper name and (levoʾ) is taken to mean “entrance to.”
● Joshua 13:6 (NET) says, “I will drive out before the Israelites all who live in the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim {miśrᵊp̄ôṯ mayim, mĭs–rĕh–fōhth’ măw–yĭm}, all the Sidonians; you be sure to parcel it out to Israel as I instructed you.”
● You might ask, is the history all that important? Since the name Joshua {yᵊhôšûaʿ, yĕh–hō–shŏŏ’–ăh} is interpreted as Jehovah-saved (in the past tense), means Jehovah is salvation, he would be a type of Christ in the Old Testament. Therefore, salvation is, and not will be, but is simply walked out in the land of unrenewed thinking as you decide who God created you as from the beginning, so that you can possess the land of truth.
● The type & shadow here is that whether you are young or old does not matter; but what matters is are you willing to be used by God inspite of age, or situation? Father-God has something for all of us to do, whether an online Christian University, pastoring a church congregation, or teaching your neighborhood or family. God has something for everyone and He can use you because you are the best He has, just like Joshua at an old age.
● I think what we are to learn from this as a type & shadow is to never give up, and to always stay ready to be used by God at every stage in your life, which you grow old and tired, or full of life and live forever. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

“FRIDAY MORNING CONVERSATIONS” (09-30-22) Guest: Apostle Shane Mason
---------------------------------------------------------
This week's episode of “Friday Morning Conversations” was part 2 of the “CREATIO EX NIHILO ~ CREATION OUT OF NOTHING!”
● Genesis 1:1 (NASB) says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
● The doctrine of creation is what we call today, Creatio ex nihilo, a Latin phrase that means that all of creation was created out of nothing. What this means is that God the Creator did not create anything from pre-existing matter outside of Himself. On the contrary, creation is the unanimous result within the shared union or communion of the Trinity.
● The “Creatio Ex Nihilo” is Latin for “creation out of nothing” and is the doctrine stating that matter is not eternal, but it had to be created by some divine creative act. In other words, matter did not just happen, but was a result of divine creation by the Creator of all things.
● This passage in Genesis 1:3, begins with the adverb, “then” as in “Then God said…” which is inserted to bring clarity to the preceding action. Action in itself presents to us the reality of the movement, and movement is a result of a procession, and the procession is the result of a chronological sequence. This means that all existing space and matter must flow consecutively from the sources of time itself. Yet, this begs the question to be answered, “When did God create time?” The answer to this question is resolved in the third verse of Genesis chapter one.
● Apostle Shane says, “Within the macro (the grand scale of creation), space-time then serves as the temporal situation that God designed to house all created matter. Within the micro (the lifeforms of creation), space-time, that is earth and seasons were designed to sustain and house all finite lifeforms. Within the framework of space-time is also the means by which God in His infinite wisdom will bring His predetermined purpose and plan for creation to an ultimate crescendo.”
● On this episode, Apostle Shane talks about the Creedal confession of our Faith which purposely places the characteristic of God firstly as Father, then the creator. Before God is creator, He is first and foremost Father. Father is what He is and has always been; the Son is what He is and has always been, and the Spirit eternally unites both the Father and Son.
● This is concrete and can never be changed or altered. Hence, the creation of all things is not an act of a bored God that needed something to do or something to rule. Rather creation is the result of a perfect union within the other-centered love between the Father, Son, and Spirit. Again, creation was not the result of an arbitrary Being who had some narcissistic need to rule over something lesser than Himself. Rather, creation is the cause of the effect realized within the eternal dance of Father, Son, and Spirit. This alone is our origin story.
● The doctrine of the Trinity is of utmost importance from the very get-go of our Christian journey if we are to consequently understand the relationship between God and man. How do you see the dynamics of the relationship between God and man? If you can understand relationship and enter into and embrace your eternal union with the Eternal Christ, then you will understand that He is your Father first. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

This episode was talking about, “DEALING WITH DIFFERENCES OF DIVERSITY!”
● Romans 14:1 (TPT) says, “Offer an open hand of fellowship to welcome every true believer, even though their faith may be weak and immature. And refuse to engage in debates with them concerning nothing more than opinions.”
● When dealing with the differences of diversity within others, how can we approach this from a God-perspective?
● Romans 14:2-3 (TPT) says, “2 For example, one believer has no problem with eating all kinds of food, but another with weaker faith will eat only vegetables. 3 The one who eats freely shouldn’t judge and look down on the one who eats only vegetables. And the vegetarian must not judge and look down on the one who eats everything. Remember, God has welcomed him and taken him as his partner.”
● How is it possible to “refuse to engage in debates with them concerning nothing more than opinions” without offending someone, and yet honor or respect their diversity or a difference in opinion? As this passage states, “one believer has no problem with eating all kinds of food, but another with weaker faith will eat only vegetables,” of this also could be the type of church one attends versus the type of church you might attend.
● A footnote says, “It is possible that the one with “weaker faith” refused to eat meat because it was offered to idols or was considered unclean,” and this was a common problem in the first century and yet it seems that the Apostle Paul understood the diversity of one view versus another and offered a solution. He clearly says, “The one who eats freely shouldn’t judge and look down on the one who eats only vegetables. And the vegetarian must not judge and look down on the one who eats everything.”
● Paul concludes verse 3 with these powerful words saying, “Remember, God has welcomed him and taken him as his partner;” so how does this relate to our oneness as the creation of God, and in our modern time?
● Romans 14:6 (TPT) says, “For the person who observes one day as especially sacred does it to honor the Lord. And the same is true regarding what a person eats. The one who eats everything eats to honor the Lord, because he gives thanks to God, and the one who has a special diet does it to honor the Lord, and he also gives thanks to God.”
● A footnote says, “We are all “household servants” in the body of Christ, for we each belong to him. When believers begin to judge other believers over our opinions or preferences, we are taking the role that belongs only to Jesus.” The fact is that having different personal convictions can also be rendered as, “Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind.”
● The Aramaic can be translated as “Every human being justifies himself through his own perspective.” Do we judge and should we judge ourselves? But notice that to stand before God’s judgment seat, a footnote says, “The Aramaic can be translated “We are all destined to stand before the podium of the Messiah.” We were judged as holy and with an unstained innocence from before the foundation of the universe. However, in this flesh-realm, our minds or memories being distorted were judged as being like our God, even if it took the cross of Christ to awaken humankind to the truth of our origin.
● Romans 14:13 (TPT) says, “So stop being critical and condemning of other believers, but instead determine to never deliberately cause a brother or sister to stumble and fall because of your actions.”
● To make a determination to never be the one who causes someone to stumble or fall can also be rendered as to “set before them an obstacle or trap to make them stumble.” We all have differences of opinions, but we can also respect one another’s differences to the point of not letter them divide us. Paul goes on the offer the ultimate solution which is to love each other, no matter what. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!

“THE BOOK OF JOSHUA ~ a Type & Shadow” A-061 (09-28-22) Today: Joshua 12:6-24
-----------------------------------------------------------
This week’s episode was lesson #61 from Joshua 12:6-24 as we continue in this study.
● Joshua 12:6 (New English Translation) says, “6 Moses the LORD’s servant and the Israelites defeated them and Moses the LORD’s servant assigned their land to Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.”
● To “assigned their land,” a translator’s note (tn) says, the Hebrew renders this as “gave it for a possession.” My thoughts on this commentary is that “we must also remember that God has revealed all these things to us by Holy Spirit of which the ultimate revelation is the truth of who Jesus really is, as the Eternal Christ and not the Jesus of 33 and one-half years. If we do not understand that we are spirit, made visible by being projected as flesh, then we also have not grasped the revelation of Jesus being the Living Expression of God, who became a man, or literally was made visible.
● Joshua 12:7-8 (NET) says, “7 These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the Israelites defeated on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the Lebanon Valley to Mount Halak up to Seir. Joshua assigned this territory to the Israelite tribes, 8 including the hill country, the foothills, the rift valley, the slopes, the wilderness, and the Negev—the land of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites:”
● Various study notes show us “the transition region between the Judean hill country and the Mediterranean coastal plain. These are areas of eocene limestone with a distinct pattern of erosion, soil, and vegetation cover.” And to sum it up, a translator’s note (tn) from the NET Bible says, “The words “the land of” are supplied in the translation for clarification.”
● Joshua 12:9-23 (NET) says, “9 the king of Jericho (one), the king of Ai—located near Bethel—(one), 10 the king of Jerusalem (one), the king of Hebron (one), 11 the king of Jarmuth (one), the king of Lachish (one), 12 the king of Eglon (one), the king of Gezer (one), 13 the king of Debir (one), the king of Geder (one), 14 the king of Hormah (one), the king of Arad (one), 15 the king of Libnah (one), the king of Adullam (one), 16 the king of Makkedah (one), the king of Bethel (one), 17 the king of Tappuah (one), the king of Hepher (one), 18 the king of Aphek (one), the king of Lasharon (one), 19 the king of Madon (one), the king of Hazor (one), 20 the king of Shimron Meron (one), the king of Acshaph (one), 21 the king of Taanach (one), the king of Megiddo (one), 22 the king of Kedesh (one), the king of Jokneam near Carmel (one), 23 the king of Dor—near Naphath Dor—(one), the king of Goyim—near Gilgal—(one), 24 the king of Tirzah (one), a total of thirty-one kings.”
● This shows us that “these descriptions are also important because they make it clear that these things happened at a real-time, and in real places. These are not fairy tales that begin with “once upon a time,” this is history that begins with specific places and people and rulers. As well, it was a way that Israel could forever remember the great things God had done for them.
● The remainder of verses sounds like a bunch of historical information that some people may not be interested in; however, to look at this from a “systematic theological” view which means not to look at only a specific portion of scripture, but to take an over-all view of what God was trying to say which in this case is not just about battles, wars, and the elimination of nations of people. This is the practical and historical picture painted here, yet the behind the senses message or even the allegorical message here is that of Father’s provision guaranteeing the defeat of all of the wandering thoughts of unrenewed thinking within the soul of mankind.
● This book is filled with the allegorical picture as a type and shadow of the wandering thoughts within the soul or mind of mankind, showing us just how doable it is to not only conquer our own unrenewed thoughts but also control every thought, even to the point of bringing them into obedience to the Christ-mind within. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of Father’s mind within” as you watch this video lesson!
