MESSAGE: 10 WAYS TO FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE
SCRIPTURE: HABAKKUK 2:2–3
There are many people in church who do not have a clear purpose, and when purpose is absent, life becomes directionless and easily influenced. The Bible says in Proverbs 13:20 that “he that walketh with wise men shall be wise,” showing that your associations shape your destiny, so you must be intentional about who you walk with and separate from wrong company according to 1 Corinthians 15:33. When you receive a vision, write it down as instructed in Habakkuk 2:2–3, because a written vision secures your future and gives clarity. Do not be passive about your destiny; create a plan and commit it to God as Proverbs 16:3 teaches, understanding that prayer is God working for you while planning is you working with God. If you only dream without planning, it will remain a wish, so you must value destiny relationships, guard your heart, and be mindful of what you see, hear, and say, because not all information is beneficial, as Philippians 4:8 encourages us to focus on what is true, pure, and of good report.
You must also think and act in alignment with where you are going, because Proverbs 23:7 declares that “as he thinketh in his heart, so is he,” so begin to see yourself where God is taking you. Like Abraham in Genesis 12:1, you must be willing to obey and step out in faith. Not everything that is permissible is profitable, as 1 Corinthians 10:23 explains, so be discerning because anything that does not add to your destiny will subtract from it. Guard your heart diligently, direct your focus, and use your time wisely, for your eyes, heart, and mind are the gateways to fulfilling your purpose, and through discipline, right thinking, and obedience to God, you position yourself to walk fully in your divine purpose.
