SUNDAY SERVICE REPORT

Topic: Would You Be Approved By God?
Main Text: Luke 18:9-14

Introduction:
The preacher started with a question: Would you be approved by God? The Bible says God is coming back very soon and He will come as a thief. Our prayer should be that God will not reject us, as He rejected the Pharisee in the text we read.

Message:

The first part of the preaching started with a declaration. Declare with faith, "I will be approved by God," and the Holy Spirit will help you. For you to be approved this morning, there are a few things you must do. (Psalm 51:16)

1. Humility Against Self-Sufficiency
God sees both the spiritual and the physical, while man sees only the physical. It is God who enables you to see the spiritual.

In Luke 18:11-12, the Pharisee said he was not like other men and he was waiting for access to be granted. He said he is not a thief who takes people's things, he is not unjust, meaning he is righteous. He does not go to native doctors and he forgets that God does the reservation. He lacked humility.

2. A Contrite Soul
Proverbs 3:34 - Unlike the Pharisee, the tax collector (publican) acknowledged his weaknesses, accepted his errors, and admitted that he was still in darkness and could not confront the light. The tax collector had a different attitude from the Pharisee.

Romans 12:1 - Paul speaks about the body. To enter the Kingdom, you need to declare, "I will be approved."

Conclusion:
The day of the wedding ceremony (the coming of Christ) is at hand. Let no one tell you something different. If the Holy Spirit speaks to you and you resist, no one will be able to help you, because He knows when things happen.

The key texts for this message, "Would I be approved by God?" are Luke 18:14 and James 4:10. On the day of judgment, you will be judged according to your justification. Let your life be aligned with the will of God.

In-Dueling : Because He leaves in us
And He's revealing presence

Don't worship God only because we expect something or we are in a painful situation.

Topic: Leaving The Gathering To Attach To The Assembly
Text: Genesis 49:1-2 and Luke 9:1-2

INTRODUCTION:
God is the one who assembles His people and gives them strength over all sickness and power to do His will. There is a difference between a _gathering_ and an _assembly_. A gathering can be any group of people, but the Assembly of God is where His power, purpose and presence are.

MAIN MESSAGE:

1. Why Do People Remain Attached To Their Gathering Instead of The Assembly?
Because they have not yet accepted their calling. Even though God knows we have weaknesses, He still strengthens us to fulfill our calling.

2. The Danger of a Wrong Gathering:
A gathering that is not of God is sometimes made up of an evil assembly. You must leave such a gathering and attach yourself to God's principles.
If a gathering gives you something you cannot repay, you become a slave to them. But in our Christian assembly, we give our tithes and offerings and pray to God our Father freely, not as slaves.

3. The Power in The True Assembly:
When God sends you to a gathering, He gives you power and wisdom to accomplish His will.
Just as He gave His disciples power to walk over principalities and powers (Luke 9:1-2), He will give you His strength.

For any gathering, make sure you hear the voice of God before you continue. He will give you strength. He gives you economical, financial, and spiritual power. For all these, you need to walk with God and wait on Him.

4. What Do You Need To Leave The Gathering And Join The Assembly?
You need the anointing. The anointing will protect you as you leave the gathering and join the assembly, and the gifts of God will manifest in you.

CONCLUSION (N.B):
It is God who assembles us and gives us strength over all sickness and power to do His will. Therefore, leave every ungodly gathering and attach yourself to God's true assembly.

Introduction:
Each and every one of us has our own way of giving. There are different aspects of giving:
- *How* to give
- *What* to give
- *Whom* to give

MAIN POINTS: WHAT TO GIVE*

1. Give Yourself to God*
_(Romans 12:1-2, Acts 6:4)_
One of the things God commands us to give is ourselves, because many people are ready to give anything but not themselves.
There are people who have completely refused to give themselves to God _(Galatians 2:20)_. God is looking for men and women who can give themselves for His work.

The question is: Are you ready to give yourself?*

2. Give Your Resources for His Work*
_(2 Corinthians 9)_
God expects us to support His work by giving our money. Learn how to greet and honor your pastor apostolically.

3. Give Your Attention*
One of the things God wants us to give is attention.
Many people have lost privileges because they were not attentive. Even during church service, while the pastor is preaching, you are not attentive, and that is why you miss opportunities in life.
This life is a mystery; you don't know when your opportunity may come. So always be attentive when someone is talking to you _(Luke 10:1)_.

4. Give Opportunities to Others
Learn how to give opportunities. This doesn't mean you can't do it, but doing everything on your own can cause fatigue. So also give opportunities to people.

5. Give Your Time
_(2 Timothy 2:3, Psalms 92:1)_
Attention needs focus, but time is different. Always learn to give your time to God first, and then to your family. One of the things God wants us to give is our time.

6. Give Thanks
Some people don't know how to give thanks. Ingratitude is very bad. Learn to give thanks — whether it is to your father, your boss, or your neighbor. Learn how to say "thank you" for all they have done.
So my brethren, I encourage you: learn how to give thanks.

One common mistake with us believers today is that When God ask us to look or take note of something we look at it carnally forgetting the sight of God isn't the sight of man.

WHAT IS THE HEART ???

# # The Heart here represents your Soul which is your real person in the spiritual realm.

What is the soul ???

DISCERNMENT

How is your surroundings, who are the people you are with ?
For you to develop skill you must be around someone who has the skills.And for this to happen, you need to be someone who is humble(Humility)
__God chooses and God Guides because he knows your weaknesses and strengths.
__God choice is not the choice of men. Those you choose may not be the one God chooses. So let our choices not be carnal.
So as a Christian let's change our mentality. If you are looking for someone to be with or be around you. Then look for someone broken by God.
So when you want to be with someone look with the heart and not the physical eyes.

In conclusion look with the heart. Not the physical appearance. Seek God's help towards this.

When someone dies,they carry his co**se but instead Joseph asked them to carry his bone which makes life a misery and when you understand and experience in the word of God,you will be saved.
Job 5 vs 26 says you will go to your grave at a good age and they shall not carry your bone says the Lord

Here me child of God ,people who carry dreams cannot be killed anyhow and they said behold the dreamer( Joseph)let's kill him and nothing will happen and one of them said ,if we kill him what shall we benefit ,so they put him in a pit with his dreams which was the journey to his dream to be realized.
If you are coming from a family people die anyhow,when they talk about family they don't call you ,just know God will change your story and you will rejoice according to the set time.Gid shall remember you ,don't cry for they shall not carry your bone for you have a plan to fulfilled is just a matter of time ,that old chapter will be over, for a day will come light and favor will locate you.And the prophecy over Joseph's head still came to past for he had a dream even though people hated him but they couldn't destroy the plan of God over his life.God bless you .Shalom
