God's Word and Prayers For Life

God's Word and Prayers For Life GOD WILL MAKE A WAY.

12/02/2024

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

As has just been said: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion."
-Hebrews 3 : 12-15

Title: Today and Everyday, I Recommit Myself to you

Inspiration 🕊😊💒

Every day is another day to reaffirm our faith. Every day is a "today" for us to avoid the temptations that would lead us into sin. Every day is another chance to help others who might be led into sin and to affirm them in their faith. It is normal and natural that we will have doubts. In fact, if we have never doubted, how do we know that we believe? It is by looking at our doubts and remembering why it is that we believe, that our faith is confirmed and strengthened. Every day it is also important to reach out to help the poor and the vulnerable. It doesn't matter how we reach out, just that we do. Each day we need to forgive and not harden our hearts to those who have hurt us in the past. We can't pick and choose who is worthy of help, or who deserves to be forgiven. Jesus doesn't ask us to make those decisions; that's his job. Have you ever been guilty of sin, have I? Did Jesus say that you or I are guilty so won't be forgiven? No, we are all forgiven; we are all saved by the actions of Jesus. If we have been saved when we were still sinners, then we have an obligation to forgive others and to help anyone who needs it. We do have a tendency to blame people for the trouble that they get into! And sometimes we think that they should get themselves out of it, even when we don't have all the facts and they are perfectly innocent. Haven't we been falsely accused at times? Let us not harden our hearts but open them to others in love.

PRAYER 🙏

Loving and forgiving God, help us to have hearts open to your children and give us a willingness to help and forgive without judgment. Amen.

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire — but my ears you have opened — burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.
Then I said, "Here I am, I have come — it is written about me in the scroll.
I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart."
I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, LORD, as you know.
-Psalms 40 :6- 9

Title: I Delight To Do Your will

Inspiration 💒🕊😊

When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we say "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." In this psalm, we pray that we delight to do God's will. I wonder if we really mean what we pray, or if we just say the words. First, we need to think about what God's will really is. When we read the Scriptures we see certain themes – justice, peace, and especially, love. These themes run through the Old Testament as well as the New. We are told to take care of the poor, the most vulnerable in our society. We are asked to remember that we were once strangers in the lands we now occupy. We are told to treat others the way we want to be treated, to forgive. These are not easy tasks and sometimes we do not "delight" in doing them. We want justice but not if it interferes with our comfort. We want peace, but our speech is often loaded with violence. We say we want to be forgiven but find it hard to forgive. We don't always welcome the stranger, and we sometimes suspect the poor of being responsible for their situation. When we continue to read this psalm, we read a confession of sorts admitting that we often fail in doing the will of God. We also hear the author asking for God's mercy and faithfulness. We need to look at ourselves with honesty and see how we can work better to bring about God's will on earth as it is in heaven.

PRAYER 🙏

Lord, you are my help, do not delay! Amen.

🔥 *AFTER THE RAPTURE OF SAINTS* 🔥

_By Apostle Joshua Selman_

✔️
Appetite for marriage will die....

✔️
Appetite for job will die....

✔️
Appetite for admission will die....

✔️
Appetite to be the Nigerian president or governor of any state will die...

✔️
Appetite for s*x will die...

✔️
Appetite for fame will die...

✔️
Appetite for Riches will die...

✔️
Men of God that missed it will be ashamed to come out from their houses because of shame of their members seeing them.

✔️
Christians that missed it will equally be ashamed to go close to those unbelievers they preached to but never gave heed to their message.

✔️
I mean after rapture, those who loved motivational messages will dislike them with passion and shall seek for messages of salvation.

✔️
Beloved, after rapture, grace will expire here on earth. Spiritual gifts shall be no more relevant because there will be no Holy Spirit to inspire and manifest them anymore.

✔️
Those who were not raptured will take home the belongings of those that where raptured if peradventure it happened during a church service.

✔️
Those who never believed in rapture shall do so but it must have become too late.

✔️
I said after rapture, those that missed it shall cry hysterically.

✔️
People would love to repent but there will be no Jesus to accept them.

✔️
It is only sin that has what it takes to drop back any man or woman on that day.

✔️
Let us lay aside every weight and sin that doth so easily beset us....(Hebrews 12:1).

May God Almighty help everyone of us....!

🙏 DON'T LET SHARING THIS BE A BURDEN TO YOU...YOU DONT KNOW WHO YOU CAN SAVE BY SHARING 🙏

A Life Of Love

TODAY’S VERSE
Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:1-3; 31-32 (NLT)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
How can it get any clearer than this? Paul is commanding you and I to live like Christians should. Today you are to be humble, gentle, forgiving, loving and patient. Today, instead of bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words and slander, you are to be tenderhearted, forgiving and kind. How will you live during the next 24 hours? You will have opportunities all day to choose. Today, call upon the Holy Spirit to fill you and lead you as you live this day the way God has called you to. The good news is, He will.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Holy Spirit. I need to get rid of all the negative emotions and behaviors in my life. But I can’t without You! I need You to produce Godly behavior in my life. I want humility, gentleness, forgiveness, love, patience, tenderheartedness, and kindness to be my normal experience. I want to be a witness to others of Your love through my behavior. Come Holy Spirit, convict me, correct me, forgive me, inspire me, teach me, guide me and fill me. Might I live completely under Your control. Might my life bear the fruit that only You can produce. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S MEDITATION & VISUALIZATION
The Holy Spirit helps me live a life of love
Picture yourself coming to the Holy Spirit and asking Him for help in the way you live. The first thing he asks you to do is to take off bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, slander and any evil that you have. One by one you take them off. You begin to sense a freedom as you peel them off. Then one by one He gives you humility, gentleness, forgiveness, love, patience, tenderheartedness, and kindness to put on. With each piece you feel stronger. They fit! You realize that the Holy Spirit is empowering you. Your heart swells with love as you affirm, “The Holy Spirit helps me live a life of love!”

What Have You Asked For?

Today : What Have You Asked For?

TODAY’S VERSE
“You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:2-3 (NIV)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
I’m not sure which is sadder: a person who never gets a chance to have what he or she desires or a person who had all the chances in the world and never took one? Here we are, a child of God. God who is all wise, all powerful and all loving, and yet we do not ask Him for good things? Jesus said, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” Jesus is not talking about a magic lamp that we rub three times and make wishes for our own pleasure. James reminds us that we are not to ask God for anything with wrong motives. Instead, He is suggesting that we should focus on a fellowship with His Father which is so rich and deep, that we end up aligning our will with God the Father’s will. So when we know God’s will, it will bring us joy and great pleasure to ask God for it. We will be about the business of making His will done on earth as it is in Heaven. What at home, work or in your church can you ask God for? What can you ask for your family, friends and co-workers that would be in alignment with His will? Pray that God would give you insight into His will and a Holy boldness to ask for it. When you do, you will receive and your joy will be complete.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I ask You to help me know what to pray for. Help me to know Your will for my life and for my family. Help me to know how to pray for my friends and co-workers. Help me pray about my relationships, career and ministry. Speak to my heart and then give me the faith to ask. Help me not to be like the person who had so many chances in life but never took one. Help me to ask You for something special today! In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I partner with God in prayer
Picture yourself coming to a Holy place for prayer. You sense the Spirit of God there. You quiet yourself and begin to worship Him. Soon you ask God to show you what to pray for. You feel a oneness with God as He brings to your mind different requests. As you pray for these, you feel more like you are praying with God. A love comes over you. A peace follows as your faith increases. Joy then comes as you know you are praying according to God’s will. As you pray for great things, trusting Him for the answers, you affirm, “I partner with God in prayer.”

Remember His Power

TODAY’S VERSE
“They forgot what he had done, the wonders he had shown them.– They did not remember his power.” Psalms 78:42

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What is worry other than forgetting the power and promise of God? The legacy that the Jews, who fled from Egypt, left for their children is that they forgot about the power of God. All the miracles, all the provisions and yet they were guilty of murmuring, complaining and idolatry. They lived as if God did not exist. Jesus came many centuries later and still found the same lack of faith. He was born amongst a people who did not know the all powerful God. So He showed them. He taught them not to worry about their needs because God would provide for them. He taught them to seek Him first and everything they needed would follow. Jesus lived among them for three and a half years. They saw the miracles, they heard His teachings, they experienced His power and yet many of them still not believe. They saw the miracles but like the Jews in the wilderness, “They forgot what he had done, the wonders he had shown them. They did not remember his power.” What about you? When situations come today that force you to take pause, will you fear or have faith? Will you remember all that He has done or will you worry in unbelief? Today remember that the God of all power and provision is the same yesterday, today and will be tomorrow.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I thank You that Your power continues today as it has in the past. I know that You are able to provide, protect and keep me from falling so I give my life to You. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I will remember God’s power
Mediate on God’s power. Think of creation. Picture God brining the world into being. Think of Moses at the Red Sea. See yourself there with him, see the water part and feel the hard dry ground as you cross to the other side. See Jesus after He has risen. Picture yourself in the crowd as He rises up to Heaven. Think of a miracle that you know has happened in your life time. Remember an answer to prayer. As you think of these things, sense their reality. Let the weight of God’s power sink deep into your consciousness. As you mediate say, “I will remember God’s power.

22/11/2023

A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:7–9).

What Should I Do?

TODAY’S VERSE
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Sometimes you hit a wall. Something comes along and has you completely baffled. You have no answers. Nothing makes sense. There doesn’t seem to be any reason to what is happening. What can you do? James offers a solution. He says, “Ask God for wisdom.” So, when your are perplexed, upset and worried, stop, wait on God and cry out to Him. God cares and He promises that He will generously give you wisdom.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I need wisdom. I need Your guidance and understanding. You have promised that You will give wisdom to me generously. I come to You in faith asking You to give me that wisdom today. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
When I ask, God will give me wisdom
Visualize yourself in a perplexing situation. You feel the pressure. Stress is building up and no matter what you do, there doesn’t seem to be an answer to your dilemma. See yourself asking God for wisdom. Feel His joy as you come to Him. Sense His presence and full attention toward your situation. He nudges you, gives you a sense of direction, inspires you and you begin to move with faith toward a solution. Affirm, “When I ask, God will give me wisdom.”

Wisdom And Understanding

TODAY’S VERSE
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Colossians 1:9 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What an exciting prospect. Paul was asking God to fill the Colossians with the “knowledge of His will”. But it wasn’t some instantaneous filling. It wasn’t an “insight” pulled out of thin air. Paul said that the knowledge of God’s will was the result of spiritual wisdom and understanding. What do you wonder about? What about your future has you stymied? What direction are you in need of? You could ask God to simply give you His will, but according to this passage you really need to ask God to impart to you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Why? Because God’s will is not that simple. Most times it is not a single answer that we need. Rather it is a series of answers. “Go this way” will not suffice. It is more like a long distant trip. You have to navigate across many highways making many decisions about direction along the way. God’s wisdom and understanding give us the ability to discern each step. Today ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will by giving you all the spiritual wisdom and understanding you need. You can begin to pursue that wisdom and understanding through, prayer, meditation and studying the word of God.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father thank You that You can make Your will abundantly clear to me through spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help me today as I meditate, pray and read Your word to get all the wisdom and understanding that I need.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
God Directs My Path
Visualize yourself at the beginning of a long journey. As you begin to impart on this journey picture yourself packing your suitcase. You look around and see a large bag of Spiritual Understanding. Picture yourself taking the bag and putting it in your suitcase. Feel the sense of relief as you know that you are taking Spiritual Understanding with you. Next see the box of Wisdom on the floor. You bend over, pick it up and put it in the suitcase. “Ahhh”. You breath a sigh of relief as you know you have wisdom for the journey. Bow before God and commit your life journey to Him. Ask Him to help you use Spiritual wisdom and understanding to know and to do His will. Affirm with a deep joy that God will direct your path.

Today : Holding On

TODAY’S VERSE
“Since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Holding on. Have you ever felt like that’s all you can do? Things are out of control. You are not sure what to do? The question is, “What do you hang on to?” The author of Hebrews says that we should “hold firmly to the faith we profess.” But this is not some “blind” faith. Rather we hold on to a faith that is in a God who cares and empathizes with our situation. Jesus knows what it is to be human, to suffer, to be tempted, to be abandoned, beaten and killed. He also knows how to love unconditionally, to forgive every imaginable sin, to be tempted and not give in and to rise from the dead. Is it no wonder that the author gives one of the most incredible pieces of advice ever given? He writes, “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence.” He is suggesting that you can come boldly right into the presence of God without worry of repercussion. And what will you get when you come right into the very presence of God? He promises that you will receive mercy and find grace to help you in your time of need. So today, when you feel anxious or worried, hold on! If you find yourself alone and depressed, hold on! If everything you hear is negative and panic sets in, hold on! If you become angry and bitterness starts to fester, hold on! Hold on to His mercy and grace; they will never fail.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I come to You and hold on today. I thank You that You are the great High Priest that never sinned but became the perfect sacrifice for my sin. I place my faith in You, dear Father, and come to Your throne of grace with confidence. Thank You for Your mercy and grace that is always there in my time of need.
AMEN

TODAY’S VISUALIZATION & MEDITATION
I hold on to the love of Jesus
Take a deep breath and as you let it out picture yourself in the presence of God. You are anxious, distressed and worried. You can feel the tension in your face and chest. Your breathing is shallow and your stomach is on edge. But, as you sit there you sense a change happening. The presence of God is overtaking your anxiousness. You hear God say, “Come, bring me your burden. Come give me your worries. I have all the grace and mercy you need.” You feel His love for you. You feel His peace flood your soul. Look and see yourself rise and come to him. You give Him your burden and He embraces you and gives you all the assurance you need. As you leave your burdens there, you hold on to the love of Jesus and are at peace.

TODAY’S VERSE
May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1:2 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Life is a learning curve. The more you try something, the more challenging it becomes. Rock climbing a small wall takes little skill and strength but as you attempt more challenging climbs, your need for skill and strength increases. Likewise in our Christian walk, the longer we live, the more relationships we have with all their complexities. The more responsibilities we have with their ever increasing demands. The more challenging life becomes, the more grace and peace we need. The more we need spiritual knowledge about God. Today ask God for more. Ask Him for more grace. Ask Him for more peace. Ask Him to increase your knowledge and understanding of who He is. Might your prayer be, “More Lord, give me more.”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I need more. I need more of Your grace. I need more of Your peace. I need more knowledge of who You are and what Your will is for me. Help me, Lord, as I earnestly seek You. I desire more.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I want more of God’s grace and peace
Picture God giving you peace. You are sitting alone sensing His presence and His peace fills your heart. But as you sit there, God says, “I have more for you.” Feel your unbelief. Sense your hesitancy. But then you say, “Yes, Lord, give me more. Give me more of Your grace and more of Your peace. And He does. Sit and imagine how much peace and grace God can give you. Bask in the anticipation of what that peace and grace would be. When you have thought about it say, “Yes, Lord, I want more of God’s grace and peace.”
