God is interested in your spiritual well-being just as he's interested in your physical well-being.

Isaiah prophesied: "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows" (Isaiah 53:4). He cares and He is willing to heal you.

In Mark 1, 30-32
Jesus enters Simon Peter's house and finds Peter's mother-in-law sick with a fever. Notice the sequence:
She was sick → Jesus came → Jesus touched her → she was healed → she rose → she served.
Her healing was not merely about making her comfortable. Her restoration positioned her to serve. (Mark 1:29-31)

1. Jesus cares about our condition.
Jesus did not come only to deal with sin in the spirit while ignoring the suffering of the body. The fact that you are struggling does not mean God has abandoned you. The fact that you are tired does not mean that your assignment is cancelled. Jesus still comes into the house.

2. Jesus wants to take away what is keeping us from effective service.
He did not merely sympathize with her condition, He intervened. Some people are not unwilling to serve; they are hindered.

3. The Church must create an environment where the wounded can be restored.
"And anon they tell him of her" (Mark 1:30). We should not be a church that exposes people's weaknesses. We should be a church that carries people to Christ. "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).

4. Healing is not the end; it is a new beginning.
She was lying down. Jesus came. Jesus took her by the hand. Jesus lifted her up. The fever left. She ministered. Rise again. Your story is not finished. Your weakness will not have the final word. Your assignment is still waiting for you.

5. Our healing can become a testimony that serves the mission.
The place where you once suffered may become the place from which you minister. God can turn your wound into a witness
