Young Minister,

There's nothing wrong with words like BROTHER, FRIEND, COLLEAGUE, SENIOR, everyone cannot be DAUGHTERS AND SONS..

One of the first signs that you are gradually losing touch with reality is when you are no longer comfortable being called YOUR NAME or any other thing asides PAPA and MAMA..

Whilst it is the responsibility of the members of the pew to learn to honor you it is also very safe for you to adjust your expectations to a point where if the honor doesn't come it wouldn't ruin your happiness.

You need your sanity to be effective and for all it's worth these titles (or the absence of it) should never be reason enough for any of us to lose the peace of mind that makes ministry effective.
