Dear Lord, Help Me.....
More than the pain of some trials and burdens we bear, is the pain of having alternative solutions to rescue us but still waiting only on God's hand. The pain of daily facing diverse solutions to our burdens, but refusing to use them and rescue ourselves because we are waiting to be sure that these solutions are truly from the Lord and we desire only His rescue.
Some of us are restless, even with clear solutions we groan to see His hand, His Spirit…To see Him behind the scene. We do not seek deliverance by saving ourselves, gimmicks, shortcuts etc
We groan for a help engineered/sent by God Himself, So that at the end of the day the glory would return to HIM. Sometimes these possible solutions are Good but just not His Helping Hand to us. The pain of escaping possible solutions is deep and crucifies us a million times till Christ is formed in.
"Dear Lord, I am 99 years old and still have no child. You promised me…You said my seed will be heir, you said my seed will be as the stars..did you mean Eliezer my servant? I have waited on you, dear Lord. Is Hagar divinely put here to help facilitate the accomplishment of this promise….???."
A prayer for all believers waiting on God for one thing or another: Help us stand Lord. And let Your voice and presence be louder to us than the pressures of this world.
