After the quiz, We were given the opportunity to be the processing group along side CYF small Soppo (the Host), we also had the opportunity to do a choral ministration of our composed piece before the congregants and our supporters, lastly the results were proclaimed and the first five were as follows:

Joy and celebration filled the atmosphere as we were awarded overall first position for the presbytery come together by God’s grace. We appreciate the Love and support from our brothers and sisters of Fako North presbytery, alumni, patrons and patroness and anyone who have supported us in anyway. Today is Day 2 of our Presbytery come together where all groups converged between 6am to 6:55am.
The YOUTH CORDINATOR OF FAKO NORTH PRESBYTERY, REV ERIC NCHINDIE FOSIMONDI began the QUIZ with an opening prayer and instructed all groups to send their representatives to collect the Question paper

The Quiz was written for 1hour. Thus, at 8am prompt all groups were required to submit their answer sheet. We thank God for the ability to study His Word and exhibit not just the head knowledge but the heart knowledge of it.

Day 1 of 2 ended successfully with evangelistic dance and liturgical singing. All groups bonded together, sharing food and drinks together while singing and animating. This shows the true meaning of fellowship, Teaching us to learn to trust God to use us in unexpected ways even in our imperfections let us make ourselves available for Gods use

CYF COME TOGETHER 2026
Joyful celebration is the nature of the atmosphere at CYF Small SOPPO, Buea as 21 groups in the Fako North presbytery specifically from the BUEA zone and BUEA EAST ZONE converge to celebrate the 2026 CYF Come together on the theme: COURAGE, drawn from JOSHUA 1:9

PCC Muyuka Town is also hosting this come together for Bafia, Pendamboko and Muyuka zones

Most groups arrived by 7am and we had our morning devotion led by the YOUTH CORDINATOR OF THE FAKO NORTH PRESBYTERY REV. ERIC NCHINDIE FOSOMONDI

We started with exhibition where each group showcased some farm products, arts and craft , Metal work next is evangelistic dance with various dance rhythm and melody from different parts of Cameroon displaying cultural diversity and an indication that God can use any medium to deliver His message

Few hours to go to the celebration of our 2026 Presbytery come together in the Fako north presbytery we’ve had late night preparations, stressful moments, long hours of meeting, several quizzes and we can only say it is by God’s grace we pray for strength as we go for evangelism tomorrow

CYF MOLYKO MORNING MEDITATION 16th AUGUST 2026

With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

THEME:
KNOW YOUR GOD AND RESIST THE DECEIT OF THE ANTICHRIST

Beloved in the Lord, we are living in the last days and the Bible has already warned us. The spirit of the antichrist is at work and his greatest weapon is not force but deception. The Scripture says those who have violated the covenant will be corrupted by flattery. The enemy comes with smooth words, with compromise, with things that look good but take us away from the truth of God. When we break covenant with God, we open ourselves to deception.

But God has not left us without an answer. The Bible declares that the people who know their God will firmly resist him. To know God is not about how long you have been in church. It is not about your position, your title, or how many seminars you have attended. To know God is to walk with Him daily in His Word, in prayer, and in obedience. It is to live according to His command.

And God adds another promise in Daniel 12 verse 3. He says those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever. God does not measure us by years in the house or by recognition in the church. God weighs us by what we do with His Word. Those who bring people to righteousness will shine forever.

This is the time to examine ourselves. When people come close to us, do they come closer to God or do they go deeper into darkness? Do they repent from sin, from addiction, from idolatry, from immorality? Or do they become worse because of our influence? God is calling us to be people who know Him and who lead others to Him. Not to pollute them, not to seduce them, but to bring them to the light of Christ.

It is time to seek the righteousness of God. It is time to lead people to righteousness. It is time to live for the eternal reward. May we not be blocked by man-made systems and structures that make us forget what really matters. Those who know their God will resist the devil. Those who know their God will make exploits in His name. And those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.

Let us pray

Father, we thank you for your Word. Teach us to know you truly and not just in name. Deliver us from flattery and deception of this age. Make us wise, and use us to turn many to righteousness. Let our lives shine as lights in this dark world. Give us grace to do exploits for your Kingdom and to shine as stars forever in your glory. In Jesus's name, we pray. Amen.
