CYFMOLYKO MORNING MEDITATION ON THURSDAY 21st May 2026

Theme: THE POWER OF ERROR

Romans 6:14
[14] For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not *under the law, but under grace.*

The most misquoted and misinterpreted verse in the bible. Someone that hates corrections, rebukes, disciplines; someone that loves carelessness, rebellion, disorder, lawlessness, reckless and laissez-faire life likes quoting this verse. Someone that loves enjoying sin likes preaching GRACE and not LAWS

Let me ask you this question if we removed laws or the 10th commandments, what becomes of life? Just imagine a lawlessness country or society or community?

What does Paul meant by " we are not under LAW but under GRACE " ? What Paul was communicating here is that no one can obey the laws of GOD without CHRIST's enablement( grace//ability ). Being under GRACE does not mean we are free from obedience to laws 👂🏿👂🏿

The Pharasees or teachers of LAWS believe in self-righteousness ie circumcision of flesh not FAITH in CHRIST. The bible says law came through Moses but TRUTH and GRACE came through CHRIST.

Why is sin( rebellion ) still a master over people? Sin is defined as rebellion or violation of GOD'S LAWS or INSTRUCTIONS. Once GOD has said it, it's a law or degree. On your own power or ability you cannot fight sin. To overcomes sin or not to violate GOD'S LAWS, it starts by believing. Have faith or believe that you can overcome all suit of sexual immorality, lies, stealing, covetousness, gossip, jealousy etc. GRACE has not come to wiped away laws but grace came to give us ability or enablement to obey laws.

Laws protect, preserve life. Joshua summarize it all " your prosperity and success lies in yieldedness and obedient to laws. Check any prosperous or successful person or nation, all start from good laws. I have never seen a successful person reckless or lawlessness. Christianity is weak Religion, it's because of its lawlessness or this misconception about law and grace. Muslim Religion is on top or strong, it's because of their strictness in laws.

How can we be reckless or lawless and still preach GRACE? It's not foolishness and stupidity? You will see a Christian knowing the dangers🚨🚨 of sin ie violating GOD'S laws but will still involve in it and later crying for GRACE🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🙆🏿‍♂️🙆🏿‍♂️. What a shame, may GOD help our foolishness and stupidity.Amen!

CYFM MORNING MEDITATION ON THE 20TH OF MAY 2026

Theme: HAVE LOVE AND THE GOODNESS OF GOD
Text: 1 Peter 3:8-10
It says
"[8]Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: [9]Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.[10]For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:"

This is the Word of the Lord, Thanks be to God.

Dearly beloved in Christ good morning. Welcome to another spiritual breakfast with Our Maker. Having love and the Goodness of God my dear brother and sister as seen in our text as a child of God. What does it mean to have Love, what more the Goodness of God!!

The Love of God is bearing that altitude to care and treated others just how we too want to be treated, fleeing far away from its opposite hate which usually is characterised by envy, jealousy and evil. Vs 8 of our text says we should all be in one mind (united in thoughts), having compassion (empathy) for one another, love as brethren, be pitiful and courteous (being polite, respectful and showing concern for others). Alot here speaks about others, not you.

Usually we sing this famous song " The Goodness of God", can you go back to the refrain and reflect on its lyrics (All my life you have been faithful....). The rest of our text , tells us about fleeing greatly from evil but speaking, carrying, having Goodness so as to carry the embodiment of Yaweh's blessings as seen in vs 10. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loss his soul because he does not want to abide in the ways of Christ!!!

As a believer, you need clarity. You can't be hot and cold and apart from altering the lines I love God... Make sure to align it with your action. Care for one another and flee from evil. Be the reason someone smiles today, someone hopes of more because they have received the enlightenment of Our God. Live Love and Good rather than Hate and evil.

CYF MOLYKO MORNING MEDITATION FOR TUESDAY 19th MAY 2026

THEME: HUMILITY BEFORE GOD

TEXT: 1 PETER 5:6 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time."

Good morning beloved in Christ we thank God for a new day🙏

Humility in simple terms is the quiet confidence to recognize your own strengths and limitations while valuing the contribution of others
Humility before God means to recognize your dependence on Him, submitting your *will, pride and plans, heart and life* to His Sovereignty.
Depending on him solely.
God wants to Bless many of us, he wants to lift many of us but he cant because we have refused to let our pride go and humble ourselves to Him
What Humility to God includes
This includes; Acknowledging your need for God
Knowing you cannot truly live rightly, be saved, or succeed spiritually by your own strength alone. Obeying God’s Word
Choosing God’s way even when it is difficult or different from what you want. Being teachable
Allowing God to correct, guide, and shape you.
Praying sincerely Coming to God honestly, without pretending to be perfect. Not seeking glory for yourself
Giving God the honor instead of becoming proud. Repenting when you sin
A humble heart admits wrong and turns back to God instead of defending sin
Humility also causes God to answer our prayers
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven

A child who is very humble to his or her parents always obtain Favour, love, provision from the parents, so imagine you being humble to God, He will always answer you when you call Him
Humility is a gift
- Humility is a gift that keeps a person teachable before God
- Humility is a gift because it opens the door to God’s grace
- A humble heart is one of the greatest gifts a person can have
Humility brings about
Grace
Wisdom
Favor
Proverbs 11:2
When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom
James 4:6
But he gives us more grace.That is why Scripture says:
God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.
Dearly beloved let us then abide by the word of Christ always and continuously be humble before Him Amen🙏

‎God never said the journey will be easy, but the reward is great.

Text: Philippians 1:6
"Being confident of this very thing that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Theme: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU.

Do you know that as a believer there is a force that works within you and make you do the things which you do?Just think about it?

Good morning beloved in Christ we thank our heavenly Father for the gift of life. 🙏🙌

This is Apostle Paul thanking the Christians in Phillipi for their partnership in the gospel from the day He started his journey with them. If there is a word l can use to describe these Christians then it will be *selflessness*
One of the most beautiful realities of the Christian life is the assurance that God is at work in us. It's God himself who is working in you, giving you the ability to fulfill his divine purpose. How can you fail when his power and wisdom is in you?
When you stretch out a helping hand, assist others, give to the needy brothers and sisters, serve genuinely in church, show concern for others know that it is He who is working in you so you can fulfill his purpose.
Hallelujah!!
• Many are drawn to His Kingdom due to the work is doing within you.
- You accomplish great things for His Kingdom due to the work is doing within you.
- You are burning and shining His light due to the work He is doing within you

*Ephesians 3:20 " Now to him who is able to do immeasurably than all we ask or imagine according to his power that is at work within us.*

God cannot work within you and cause you to go against him, so anytime you do something evil, understand that it's a contrary spirit leading you.
The annoying thing about most of us is that we abuse the help rendered to us, a brethren will genuinely help out at times but wants something in return, know that God cannot cause such to happen.

I want you to declare this words as you go out: God is at work in me, he isn't watching from a distant place but rather he is actively involved and he is perfecting the good work He began in me.

CYF MOLYKO EVENING MEDITATION FRIDAY 15TH MAY 2026

Text :Proverbs 10:2-5
10:2 Dishonest money has no value, but righteousness saves you from death. 10:3 The Lord will not let a good person go hungry, but he will keep the wicked from getting what they want. 10:4 Being lazy will make you poor, but hard work will make you rich. 10:5 A son who gathers crops in the summer is a wise son, but one who sleeps at harvest time is a disgrace.

*Theme: "Wealth That Does Not Gain Righteousness "*

Brethren in Christ, good evening.Tonight God is warning us about chasing Wealth in the wrong way. *Dishonest money has no value*.You can gain money through cheating , lying or cutting corners , even killing, but it won't protect you when trouble comes .It doesn't bring peace or safe life. What lasts is *righteousness* ."Righteousness saves us from death" (proverbs 10:2).

We live in a world where it is very common to see people, including even believers ,who make wealth out of dishonesty . Some are lazy but want to be rich.They do not want to gather crops in the summer , but yet they expect to harvest .

In proverbs 10:2-5 ,Solomon reminds us that God's way to wealth is diligent work .Being lazy will make you poor, but hard work will make you rich .God blesses faithful effort :"careful planning puts you ahead in the long run"(proverbs21:5) and God does not bless laziness or dishonesty .

So as Christians we are all encouraged to live a life that is free from "Wealth That Does Not Gain Righteousness" by walking right with God , working faithfully with our hands, and trusting Him for Wealth that lasts .

*Prayer* :Heavenly father, father of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ ,we thank You for the gift of life and for Your word in proverbs 10:2-5 that talk about wealth that does not gain righteousness. Lord forgive us for the wealth we make out of dishonesty ,remove any spirit of laziness/dishonesty in us and bless us with the spirit of honesty , in Jesus' name, Amen.

CYF MOLYKO MORNING MEDITATION 14th MAY 2026

Text: Job 12:22 NIV

"He reveals the deep things of darkness
and brings utter darkness into the light".

Theme: *He Brings Deep Darkness Into The Light*

Beloved in Christ, onee of the greatest mysteries in life is when God opens our eyes with visions and revelations to see the unseen and know the unknown.

Most often I tend to ask people in Bible studies, "What do you use to sweep the house?”It is easier for people to quickly say “a broom.”But indeed it is not the broom. It is our eyes. The broom is only a servant to the eyes. What the eyes see, the broom sweeps.

Seeing what cannot naturally be seen can only be swept through prayers. If we can increase our partnership with the Holy Spirit to unlock to us the deep things of darkness and bring complete darkness to light, the deliverance of our lives, our family, the ministry, the church, and the world will be faster.

Darkness is the stronghold of the devil. He hides in darkness to strike. When enemies are hidden, they become very effective. One Holy Ghost empowered, targeted prayer topic against darkness is more important than ten volumes of books written about prayer.

When we partner with the Spirit of Light, the Spirit of Truth, He brings to light the darkness hidden against us — invisible barriers and strongholds against us, against our community, against the church.

Why is God interested to bring hidden things of darkness into light? What He is interested in doing, we should follow suit to be interested in praying for.

You might be moving around not knowing that there is a team of people partnering with hidden places to damage what God has called you. It takes only the Holy Spirit to march into that darkness and destroy it before it comes to fruition.

We need to know the unsearchable truth of darkness and pray for the Holy Spirit to expose and destroy it, and let light take over where darkness used to be, for light to lead us.

*Prayers*

Father of Light,
If hidden darkness is damaging us, expose it.
Unsearchable wickedness working against Your call on our lives — bring it to light.
Holy Spirit, march into every secret stronghold and destroy it before it rises.
Give us eyes to see what we can not see.
Give us words to pray what we do not know.
Let light take over where darkness ruled.
Lead us by light into World.
In Jesus name, Amen.

We declare, we will not sweep blindly. The Lord reveals, we pray, darkness bows, and light takes over.
