UNVEILED AND FREE
“But whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:16–17 CSB)”
Second Corinthians chapter three also explains why many people struggle to experience this transformation. Paul teaches that the law of Moses functioned as a veil, a ministry of letters that brought condemnation and spiritual death. This veil covered human hearts and prevented clear vision of Christ. Even though the law was glorious, it could not give life or lasting change. However, in Christ, the veil has been completely removed. When a person turns to the Lord, the covering is taken away, and true freedom begins. This freedom is not the absence of responsibility, but the presence of the Holy Spirit working within. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty to see, believe, and become. The believer no longer relates to God through fear or condemnation, but through life and righteousness. Now, with unveiled faces, we can look directly into the Word and see Christ clearly. As we behold Him, the Spirit produces inward transformation. This reveals that growth is not achieved by law-keeping, but by relationship, revelation, and continual fellowship with Christ through the Spirit. This truth restores hope, renews identity, strengthens faith, and invites believers to live boldly in grace daily without fear or condemnation again.
PRAYER
Thank You Father for removing the veil in Christ. I affirm freedom, life, and righteousness, as Your Spirit leads me to see clearly, live boldly, and grow in grace. Amen.
