Title: Principles that Ensure God's Promise Is Fulfilled
Text: Genesis 24:1-8

Introduction
This Bible text presents something unique. What was the promise God gave to Abraham? God promised Abraham that he will be the father of many nations but there was a problem. Abraham was already very old and his son Isaac was 40 years old, not married and without a child.
Abraham had to do something for God's promise to be fulfilled. He sent his servant to his relatives in search of a wife for his son.

STEPS TO THE FULFILMENT OF THE PROMISE

There were steps Abraham took to ensure the promise was fulfilled. What are the steps to fulfilling the promise?:

1. Do not Take the Easy Road

Abraham knew that his son's wife could not come from the Canaanites. He made his servant promise him he was not going to take the shortcut, take a woman from around. The easy way out is dangerous. Always follow God's principles, even when you don't understand why.

2. Donot Depend on your Own Understanding

The servant had knowledge of Abraham's expectations. He prayed for God's divine direction. He had strategise but still knew only GOD could help him. When you turn to GOD, things will fall in place.

3. Remember to Always Return the Glory to God

He returned the glory back to God. The destinies of generation depend on that single decision. God promises cannot be fulfilled outside him. Abraham knew what God told him.

God bless you!

Minister: Rev. Alain Houag
Texts:Daniel 9:1-4; Psalm 31:2
Title: Speed and Delay

Introduction
Delay is a serious issue in our faith. Daniel's prayers were delayed. Thank God he persisted. David prayed, and he asked God to answer him speedily. God's delays come with peace and grace to bear (Philp.4:8). Devilish delays bring frustration. We need to cry and ask God to come speedily.

THE FOUR FACTORS OF SPEED

1. Revolted Prayers (1 Sam. 1:9)
You need to be annoyed with your situation and desperately pray before you experience acceleration! It is a combination of anger, annoyance, faith mixed with desperation that releases His speedy intervention.

2. Consistent Service (Luke 1:10-11)
Remember, the angel met with Zechariah at his place of service. It is at our place of service that God increases our speed. Unfortunately, when we go through tough times, the devil will convince us to slow down in our commitments and our divine responsibilities. Keep the commitment, keep your vow, be crying but just be moving. That's where divine speed is released.

3. A Controlled Temper (2 Ki. 18:36)
King Hezekiah was provoked by Rabshakeh, the envoy of the King of Assyria, Sennacherib. An evil tongue delays blessings. When God is about to move, stand still. Do not respond to provokations.

4. The Right Community (Gen.13:14)
There are "circles of delay." Abraham had a small delay due to his closeness with Lot. When they separated, God appeared to him and reiterated the covenant. Let the devil not lie you; there are people who have negative influence around them. They keep you stagnated. Have the courage to cut off from any circle of gossip, immorality, puroselessness, etc.

God bless you!

Texts: 1 Samuel 1:1-18; Matthew 26:36-46
Title: Burden-driven Prayers

𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

Hannah had a burden in her heart. Nobody gave her a prayer point. A burden is a cause for worry, something oppressive. It may also be a responsibility placed on you. Hannah had one burden, prayerlessness. Our God is not deaf. God answers burdens (Numbers 14:28).

𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐒

1. A man of burden does not respond to provocation with quarrelliny and fighting (vs.6)

Answering to provocations give the enemy the right to fight you.

2. A man of burden is not comforted by other things (vs.5)

Only a child could comfort Hannah, not even the double portion nor the love of the husband.

3. The man of burden spends time in prayer (vs.9-11)

Hannah prayer and poured her soul to the Lord.

4. The man of burden receives peace (vs.17-18)

God bless you!

Prayer Point:

1. Father, I lay my burden before You, answer me now!

Text: Judges 6:11-16, 23-24, 25-27
Title: The Strength of the More than Conqueror

Introduction

The people of Israel had been oppressed by the Midianites for seven years. The Lord appeared to Gedeon and asked him to take charge, and God called him a mighty man of valour. Gedeon was feeling unqualified.

Each time there's a challenge, God looks for a man. And you are that man, you are that woman. God is looking out for you.
You are a mighty man of valor.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐆𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐎𝐍 𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑?

What actually made Gedeon a man of valour who could change his family and his community's destiny?:

𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 (𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟐)

The presence of the Lord is our only guarantee of victory. Our victory is not in our certificates, not in our physical appearance, not in our experience, but in His presence.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 (𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟒)

Gideon did not go on his own. He went with the authority of the Lord. On our own, we are not able to win the battle. We should go in the name of the Lord. Gideon went under the authority of the Most High. Only with one stone, David dedeates Goliath because he invoked God's authority. The Lord told Gideon, "Have I not sent you?" When you go to the battle without faith, you are disgracing our Lord.

𝟑. 𝐎𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟔:𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟕)

Sometimes, we loose the battle because we go with our own instructions. It is divine Instructions that will bring the victory. The Lord is Omniscient. Trust Him and follow Hid instructions. it is in the instruction that the Lord willanifest His strength.

God bless you!
