HOW THE MOVIE INDUSTRY MANIPULATED OUR CHOICES

Back in the days when we had just movies, we enjoyed the entertainment thinking we were catching cruise.

Back then in the movies, you will see this rich guy who married a young girl from a poor background(could be vice versa). Whenever, they had issues you will hear statements like 'I picked you from the gutters" or "I made you who you are and gave you a name".

Fast forward to when we had come of age to make a decision on who to marry, we ruled out rich guys for fear that they will one day tell us they picked us up from the gutters and made us who we are. Saaaaaahhhh🤣🤣🤣

NB: We never saw this anywhere in real life. The movie industry shaped our choices. And we all assumed we were right.

Could this be one of the reasons why most church sisters have this story to tell; among all the men who approached me, my husband was the least. Heeeeeee, God di always reserve that best them for who them ehhhh🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

DAY 3: WE TRAVAIL UNTIL WE PREVAIL

Text: 1 Chron.4:9-10
Day 2, we saw how Abraham broke the cycle through his promt obedience to God and his attitude towards men. By the grace of God, Day 3 we are seeing a man who cried to God. JABEZ

The opening sentence of the verse9 is actually the answered prayers and then the proceedings statements talk about his issue and what he did to bring about a change. Do you, like Jabez have an unpleasant life? He was birthed in pain and he lived in pain until he decided to change the narrative. You too can decide to change the narrative.

The bible says Jabez cried out to God. Men and brethren, most often we cry to men. Sometimes, the men we are crying out to are the cause of the tears or can't really solve the issue. Like Jabez, can we in this season face God? Can we sincerely call on God for a change. Like we prayed the following topics:

1.) Lord, bless me and enlarge my territory(my capacity).

2.) Lord may your hand come on me and may no harm befall me in Jesus name.

Day 2: WE TRAVAIL UNTIL WE PREVAIL

Sub topic; Breaking the evil family cycle

We looked at Lot and Abraham. It was clearly seen that Lot went back to the usual family cycle whereas Abraham broke that cycle to begin another.

How did Abraham broke the cycle?
1.) Total and complete obedience to God. At every instance God spoke to Abraham, he was sure the voice was God's and he obeyed immediately. When God called him out to a strange land to bless him, despite the challenges involved, he obeyed and God blessed him.
2.) His Attitude. Abraham knew how to handle various people and situations. He started the journey with Sarah and Lot, yet these the greatest persons to have caused him pain but he stayed calm about it and will still obey the Lord. When they stressed him up, God spoke to him. For example; when Lot left him, God then opened his eyes to see the vastness of his land (Gen 13:14-17).
Our character will not only open door before men but before God as well as it did Abraham.

Unlike Lot who had walked with his uncle from the time he was called and through all his journeys. However greed and self-centeredness(bad attitude) shot the door against him. This is Lot whose herdsmen quarreled with his uncle's. When asked to part ways, he gladly made the first choice taking for himself the best portion of land. Long story short, he ended up in a cave in a mountains. He broke the hedge of protection and blessings over him by parting ways and fell back in that same old family cycle.

Prayer topics;
1.) Lord teach me to know your voice. That as I meditate on your word, I will get to know your voice.
2.) Help me that at every given command, I will hear and do as soon as you want me to in Jesus name.
3.) Let your word bring transformation that my attitude may be right before you and men according to Rom.12:1-3.
4.) Establish who you are in Christ and identify yourself with the new covenant as a child of God. Heb 8:13

Day 1 of WE TRAVAIL UNTIL WE PREVAIL

We want to see how God took the patriachs through the promise of the blessings until they acquired the blessing.

First of all, we see that Terah the father of Abram took Abram, Sarai and Lot and they set out for a journey to Canaan. However, when they got to Harran, they stopped (Gen. 11:31). The next thing we see is that Terah died at the age of 205 in Harran.
What prompted him to leave Ur of the Chaldeans?
Why was Canaan his destination?
What stopped him when he got to Harran?

However, in chapter 12:1, God calls Abram away from his country, his people and his fathers household to a land He will show him. Guess where? Canaan🤔🤔
I am just loving the verse 5 of chapter 12, in obedience Abram set out for Canaan with all he had and the word of God says and they got there.

What stopped Terah did not stop Abram. He set out on God's journey and at God's time and he arrived God's destination for him along with all that set out with him.

Prayer requests
1.) Lord set me on the right journey. May I run your course and not my mine.
2.) May I reach my destination and not stop on the way in Jésus name.

He worked through human vessels. And so appreciate every actor, The Speakers, ever participant, the organizers, those who supported us in prayers, words of encouragement, sharing our flyers, reacting and commenting, and those who supported us financially too. We want to say a very big God bless you.

Of course, how do we even talk of th Resilient End Time Army without the Holy Spirit?

In our days, very little is said about Him. But we thank God for giving us yet another opportunity with the Father to learn about the Holy Spirit and to be impacted by Him.
I am excited for what the Father is set to do.

After this program, we will be walking out IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT so we can effectively do the service we've been called to do.

It is such a great privilege to have Daddy around.

Like seriously, just two days and we are there.

My excitement is getting excited💃💃💃💃💃

We are talking about God's Resilient End Time Army. How do we even get here when we know little or nothing about the nncient landmarks? A lot of us have missed it and God in this time and season wants to put us on track again. In this season, with the help of God, we will be Tracing the Ancient Landmarks.

Furthermore, our generation is filled with many desecrated and contaminated vessels. Oh, how the Father longs to consecrate us for his glory. It is either holiness or it is holiness. The Consecrated Vessel. The very much needed vessel for such a time as this.

Meet Rev. Bermose God's man servant for this season. He was my teacher in FGBI-EP and he is undeniable a very usable vessel in the hands of the Father. I am excited for what God will be doing.

My life won't be the same. Thank you Jesus.

If resilience was a person!

I met soft spoken, gentle, yet a very resilient mother. One who does not bow to pressure but has fixed her eyes on Jésus and is carefully running her race to achieve her goals. She pastor's in one of the then hot zones affected by the crisis. I asked her one day, mommy why don't you leave and she asked me with a smile, will I carry the Christians with me. She endured the numerous tortures and hardships.

Today it is paying off. She has become the leading lady in that area. She convenes the wives on men of God for annual retreats in that land. The lone female pastor among men but her gentle voice is always sought to be heard. Together with daddy, they are raising the largest church structure for God(church, retreat centre and rest rooms) in that land.
GOD'S RESILIENT END TIME ARMY could not have been complete without her because she is a clear démonstration of the message.
