If you're a friend of everybody, you're an enemy to yourself.

Trying to please everyone is one of the fastest ways to lose yourself. When you stand for nothing, you become available for everything, including disrespect, manipulation, and exhaustion. Not everyone deserves access to your time, your energy, or your loyalty.

Real strength comes from knowing where you stand, even if it means being misunderstood or disliked. Boundaries will cost you some people, but they will save your peace, your focus, and your self respect. The truth is, the more you try to keep everyone comfortable, the more uncomfortable your own life becomes.

Being liked is easy. Being respected requires courage. It requires saying no without guilt and walking away without explanations when your values are being compromised. The people meant to stay will respect your limits. The ones who leave were only there because you had none.

You are not here to be everyone’s friend. You are here to be honest with yourself and aligned with your principles. Protect your energy. Choose your circle wisely. Because when you stop betraying yourself to keep others happy, you finally start living with clarity, strength, and peace.

On the path to your destiny, there will be times you feel like you’re at a disadvantage. You’re outnumbered, outsized, out-trained, and out-educated. The enemy wants you to stay in fear. To stay stuck in wrong mindsets. Stuck in regret from past mistakes. Stuck in the pain of past wounds. He knows if you get moving in faith and keep taking steps, you’re sure to reach the fullness of your God-given destiny. You have to understand this principle: to go in the strength you have, even when you’re sure it’s not enough. But here is great news: God has given you all you need. Go with the strength you have, and God will do the rest.

God doesn’t care that you seem to be the best Christian, that you offer a lot of money, that you go out to do missionary work, that you preach, write or publish powerful things if your heart is far from Him. Today we can review our lives and ask ourselves if we are doing things to be approved by our brothers or to be approved by God.

I am overwhelmed at this level of never-ending response. I think it’s funny that we pray the prayer, “Let earth look more like heaven,” but most churches you visit will look nothing like what is happening in heaven. Part of the issue stems from us teaching people how to sing, but not how to see. The response happening in heaven is not because they were taught a song, but it is a response of praise based on what they see.

We are called to be a Kingdom of priests that declare His praises. We reflect a Holy God to the world around us. People make judgments on God based on the actions of those who call themselves Christians. Because of this it is imperative that we set Him apart in our own lives. When people look at your life, what do they believe about God?

Proverbs 18:21: “The tongue can bring death or life.” When you complain, you are agreeing that the situation is in control. Instead of being ruled by your situation, start to worship. Worship is an incredible reminder to the enemy of who is truly in control of the situation. It's time to take a stand. It's time to raise your voice. It's time to let worship be your war cry, for we were born to be overcomers. There is power in our worship! There is power in the name of Jesus!

I heard a funny story about a newly elected mayor of a town in Ohio. As he and his wife were riding in the motorcade of the inaugural parade down Main Street, waving to the crowds of people gathered along the route, they passed a man who was calling out to the mayor’s wife. The mayor asked, “Who is that man?” “That is my old boyfriend,” his wife responded coyly. The mayor nodded his head and said, “Just think; if you would have married him, you wouldn’t be the mayor’s wife today.” She smiled and answered, “No, if I would have married him, he would be the mayor today.” Now, that’s my kind of woman! She recognized her influence and knew how to use it for the benefit of others; the question for you is: Do you recognize yours?

The Bible says that when we are faithful over what He’s placed in our hands, no matter how small it may seem, He will bless it and multiply it.

EVEN IF YOU SPEND 7 YEARS IN A RELATIONSHIP YOU CAN’T STILL KNOW ALL ABOUT A PERSON

It is why some people get shocked when they get married😂

Some married people just laugh when singles waste unnecessary time in relationships in the name of getting to know themselves.

If you read a page daily to know a person, you can't still know all.

Here is a shocker: Even the person you are trying to know does not know themselves as they think.

Marriage will reveal aspects of themselves they didn't know. So, both parties will need to be flexible enough to adjust, keep adjusting, and adapt.

There are circumstances beyond one’s control that might make a relationship last too long. Aside from that, you don't have to spend too long in a relationship.

This one that people now celebrate 5 years relationship anniversaries instead of child dedication is amusing.

It is why after some of our parents see that we've been in the relationship for a while, they begin to ask if the person is not serious. Because by now, they expect that a serious person would have asked for the lady’s hand in marriage.

And to the men, they start asking when they will marry.

Just ensure that you have settled the primary areas; every other thing is secondary.

From your observation, is the person God-fearing? Do your values align? Have you asked vital questions? Have you discussed critical topics? What is now the reason for the delay?

The issue with our generation is that instead of focusing on addressing key issues to enable us to move forward, we are distracted with a lot of things.

We claim to be the ones who know better but from your observation, are we doing better?

We need to start operating with the mentality of a person in courtship and stop this endless dating game.
