*Why biotech engineering matters in toilet digesters*

- *Breaks down waste faster*: Biotech adds specific bacteria and enzymes to the digester tank. These microbes are selected to eat solids, fats, and paper way faster than natural bacteria. Result: less sludge buildup, so you don’t need to evacuate the tank as often.

A standard family of 5 might fill a 1000L septic tank in 2-3 years. A biotech digester of the same size can last 8-10 years before desludging. That’s fewer truck callouts and lower lifetime cost.
