FINANCIAL INTEGRITY AND HONEST LIVING (WALKING IN TRUTH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS)

Scripture: Prov. 11:1 *“A false balance is an abomination to the Lord…”*

Financial integrity is living honestly in all financial dealings. God blesses those who walk in righteousness and truth.

THE VALUE OF FINANCIAL INTEGRITY

1.*Builds trust (Luke 16:10):* Faithfulness in little leads to greater responsibility.

2.*Attracts God’s favour (Ps. 5:12):* God blesses the righteous.

3.*Ensures peace (Isa. 32:17):* Integrity brings inner peace.

4.*Protects your reputation (Prov. 22:1):* A good name is valuable.

5.*Establishes long-term success (Prov. 10:9):* Honesty secures your future.

WAYS TO LIVE WITH INTEGRITY

1.*Be honest in all dealings:* Avoid fraud and deceit.

2.*Pay your debts:* Fulfill your obligations promptly.

3.*Avoid shortcuts:* Trust God instead of dishonest gain.

4.*Practice accountability:* Be transparent in your finances.

Prosperity begins in the mind. A renewed mindset aligns your thinking with God’s promises and positions you for abundance.

THE POWER OF A PROSPERITY MINDSET

1.*Positive thinking (Prov. 23:7):* Your thoughts shape your reality. Thinking right leads to right living.

2.*Faith in provision (Phil. 4:19):* It helps you trust God for supply.

DAY 23

HONOURING GOD WITH YOUR SUBSTANCE (Putting God First in Your Finances)

Scripture: Prov. 3:9a “Honour the Lord with your substance…”

Honoring God with your substance means recognizing Him as the source of all you have. When you give to God willingly, you demonstrate your love, trust, and obedience to Him.

THE IMPORTANCE OF HONOURING GOD

1.*Acknowledging God as source (Deut. 8:18):* It shows that you recognize God as your provider.

2.*Opens doors of blessing (Mal. 3:10):* Honouring God attracts divine provision and increase.

3.*Demonstrates obedience (1 Sam. 15:22):* Giving to God reflects your obedience to His Word.

4.*Strengthens faith (2 Cor. 9:7):* It builds your trust in God’s ability to supply.

AVOIDING DEBT AND FINANCIAL BO***GE (WALKING IN FINANCIAL FREEDOM AND DISCIPLINE)

Scripture: Prov. 22:7 The borrower is servant to the lender.

Debt can limit your freedom and hinder your progress in life. God desires that His children live in liberty, not in financial bo***ge.

Avoiding debt requires discipline, wisdom, and trust in God’s provision rather than dependence on borrowing.

THE DANGERS OF FINANCIAL BO***GE

1.*Loss of freedom (Prov. 22:7):* Debt places you under control of others. It limits your ability to make independent financial decisions.

2.*Financial stress (Rom. 13:8):* Owing creates pressure and anxiety in your life. It affects your peace and spiritual focus.

3.*Delayed progress (Hab. 2:6):* Debt can slow down your growth and achievements. It diverts resources from productive use.

4.*Spiritual distraction (Matt. 6:24):* Financial burdens can take your focus away from God. It makes money a controlling factor in your life.

5.*Cycle of dependency (Deut. 28:12):* Borrowing repeatedly creates a cycle that is hard to break. It keeps you in financial bo***ge.

WAYS TO AVOID DEBT

1.*Live within your means (Luke 14:28):* Plan your spending wisely and avoid unnecessary expenses.

2.*Practice contentment (Heb. 13:5):* Be satisfied with what you have
while trusting God for increase.

3.*Budget and plan (Prov. 21:5):* Proper planning helps you avoid financial mistakes.

4.*Trust God as your source (Phil. 4:19):* Depend on God’s provision instead of borrowing.

5.*Develop discipline:* Control your spending habits and prioritize needs over wants.

THE BLESSING OF DILIGENCE AND HARD WORK

Scripture: Prov. 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

Prov. 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

While prayer, faith, and divine favour are important, God also expects His people to be diligent in their responsibilities. Throughout Scripture, God consistently rewards commitment, excellence, faithfulness, and labour. Diligence is not merely working hard; it is working faithfully, consistently, wisely, and persistently until results are achieved. Hard work is the bridge between dreams and reality. Many people admire success, but few are willing to embrace the discipline and sacrifice that produce it. God blesses the work of diligent hands.

WHAT THEN ARE THE BLESSINGS OF DILIGENCE AND HARD WORK?

1.*Leads to prosperity:* The diligent hand attracts increase and productivity. Poverty often follows laziness while prosperity frequently follows productive labour (Proverbs 10:4).

2.*It brings promotion:* Excellence attracts recognition. People who consistently perform well are often entrusted with greater responsibilities (Prov. 22:29).

3.*It produces results:* Consistent effort eventually produces visible rewards (Gal. 6:9).

4.*It builds character:* Hard work develops patience, discipline, endurance, responsibility and insight. God often uses work to prepare people for greater assignments.

5.*It creates opportunities:* Many opportunities come disguised as work. David was faithfully tending sheep when God prepared him for kingship.

6.*It attracts favour:* When people see consistency and reliability, trust grows. Favour often follows excellence. People naturally recommend dependable individuals.

7.*It defeats stagnation:* A diligent person keeps moving forward despite obstacles.

8.*It honours God:* When believers work faithfully, they reflect God’s character (Col. 3:23).

9.*Diligence leaves a legacy:* Great accomplishments are usually the product of persistent labour. For example, Nehemiah worked tirelessly to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem despite opposition.

10.*It positions you for divine increase:* God’s favour often rests upon the efforts of diligent people (Deuteronomy 28:12).

_I decree and declare that by this understanding, you will receive the spirit of diligence and excellence and every spirit of laziness is broken in your life in Jesus’ name._

PRAYER POINTS

1) Father, my hands are blessed for productivity. I shall prosper in the work of my hands in Jesus’ name.

2) Oh God My Maker, I receive wisdom to work effectively and efficiently in Jesus’ name.

DAY 20

THE MYSTERY OF GIVING AND RECEIVING

Scripture: 2 Cor. 9:6 *He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shaIl reap also bountifully.*

The mystery of giving and receiving is one of the deepest kingdom principles established by God. To the natural mind, giving appears to reduce what a person possesses, but in God’s kingdom, giving becomes the pathway to increase. What leaves your hand does not leave your life; it enters your future as a harvest.
A mystery is a hidden truth that can only be understood through revelation. The mystery of giving and receiving is that God uses what leaves you to create what comes back to you. The world says, “Keep everything you have.” God says, “Release what I command, and I will multiply it.”

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THE MYSTERIES OF GIVING AND RECEIVING

1.*Giving is the language of love:* God demonstrated His love by giving. Where love is genuine, giving becomes natural.

2.*Every harvest begins with a seed:* No harvest exists without a seed. Everything you desire often requires a corresponding seed (Gene. 8:22).

3.*Giving is not losing:* Kingdom giving is not a loss but a transfer into God’s system of multiplication. (Eccle. 11:1).

4.*God multiplies what is released:* What is withheld remains limited; what is surrendered to God can be multiplied.

5.*Giving opens doors that money cannot open:* For example, Cornelius gave generously, and his giving became a memorial before God (Acts 10).

6.*The measure of giving influences the measure of harvest:* God’s kingdom operates on the principle of sowing and reaping. Bountiful sowing produces bountiful harvests (Luke 6:38).

7.*Giving breaks the spirit of greed:* Generosity frees the heart from the bo***ge of materialism. A giver trusts God more than possessions (1 Tim. 6:10).

8.*Sacrificial giving attracts divine attention:* Solomon offered extra ordinary sacrifices and God appeared to him. Certain sacrifices speak loudly before God.

9.*Giving positions you as a channel:* God blesses people not only to receive but also to distribute blessings.

10.*God never forgets a genuine seed:* God keeps a record of every sacrifice, service and act of kindness done in faith. The harvest may be delayed, but it is never forgotten by God (Hebrews 6:10).

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF THE MYSTERY OF GIVING AND
RECEIVIING.

1.*Abraham:* Gave obedience and received covenant blessings.

2.*Hannah:* Gave Samuel to God and received additional children.

3.*The widow of Zarephath:* Shared her last meal and experienced supernatural provision.

4.*The boy with five loaves and two fishes:* Released his lunch, and thousands were fed.

5.*Conelius:* His generosity brought divine remembrance and visitation.

_I decree and declare that by this understanding, you will receive the grace to be a cheerful and obedient giver in Jesus’ name._

PRAYER POINTS

1) Father, every good seed I sow shall produce a mighty harvest in Jesus’ name.

2) Oh Lord, I reject poverty, lack, and financial stagnation. The Lord will remember my labour of love in Jesus’ name.

KEYS TO FINANCIAL PRINCIPLES

Scriptures: Deut. 8:18 *But thou shaft remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth...*

God is not against His children prospering. Throughout Scripture, God teaches principles that govern financial increase, stewardship, and abundance. Financial breakthroughs are not built merely on prayer; they are sustained by divine principles. Financial prosperity is not just about having money; it is about having the wisdom to acquire, manage, multiply, and use resources for God’s glory.

WHAT THEN ARE THE KEYS TO FINANCIAL PRINCIPLES?

1.*Put God first:* Financial success without God often becomes a burden. When God is first, He provides direction, protection, and wisdom for your finances. For example, Abraham honoured God and became exceedingly wealthy and influential (Matt. 6:33).

2.*Develop diligence:* Hard work remains one of God’s principles for financial advancement. Laziness destroys opportunities, while diligence attracts promotion (Prov. 22:29). Give your best effort in every assignment.

3.*Learn the principle of giving/tithing:* Giving opens doors for receiving. Financial increase often flows through generosity. A closed hand cannot receive new blessings (Luke 6:38, Mal 3:10). Cornelius gave generously and received divine visitation.

4.*Practice wise stewardship:* Faithfulness with little prepares you for much. Many pray for increase while mismanaging what they already have (Luke 1 6:10).

5.*Avoid debt where possible:* Debt can limit freedom and delay progress. Borrowing empties your tomorrow into today and keeps you in the realm of servant permanently (Proverbs 22:7).

6.*Save consistently:* Savings create stability and prepare you for future
opportunities and emergencies (Prov. 21:20). For example, Joseph stored resources during years of plenty and preserved nations during famine.

7.*Increase your knowledge:* Financial growth often follows learning. It increases learning potential and decision-making ability (Hosea 4:6).

8.*Maintain integrity:* Dishonest gain may be fast, but it is rarely lasting. Integrity builds trust, and trust creates opportunities. (Prov. 11:3). For example, Daniel maintained integrity and rose to positions of
influence.

9.*Create multiple streams of income:* Relying on only one source of income can increase financial vulnerability. Explore additional income opportunities (Eccle. 11:2).

10.*Trust God while applying principles:* Financial principles work best when combined with prayer, wisdom, and dependence on God. Success comes from both divine favour and responsible action (Ps. 127:1).

_I decree and declare that by this understanding, you will receive divine wisdom for financial management in Jesus’ name._
