Sometimes faith will make you look stupid until it starts to rain

Noah must have looked foolish to many. Imagine spending years constructing an ark on dry land because God said a flood was coming. Yet when the first drop of rain fell, every nail and board became proof of his obedience and trust in God’s word.

Faith is rarely comfortable. It will sometimes isolate you, test your patience, and even make you doubt yourself. But if you stay anchored in God’s promises, the rain will come the fulfillment, the vindication, the evidence of what you’ve been believing for. Hebrews 11:7 a (KJV) says, By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Keep building, even when others don’t understand. What looks foolish now will soon become the very thing that saves and elevates you. God always honors the faithful ones.

Beloved, there’s something sacred about the moments when we kneel before God. It’s more than a posture, it’s a place of surrender, intimacy, and power. But often, at the point when we begin to feel weary, distracted, or unsure of what to say next, is the very moment heaven is calling us to press deeper.

When you are on your knees in prayer, don’t rush away. Don’t let your mind wander or your heart grow faint. That’s the moment to linger a little longer, to silence every other voice and lean into the whisper of the Holy Spirit. In those quiet, hidden moments, burdens are lifted, strength is renewed, and God reveals His heart to those who wait.

Elijah prayed until the rain came 1 Kings 18:41–45 (KJV). Jacob wrestled until the blessing was released Genesis 32:24–30 (KJV). Jesus prayed until His will was one with the Father’s Luke 22:41–44 (KJV). Likewise, when you press deeper in prayer, you touch something eternal and come to the place where your heart aligns with heaven’s purpose.

So today, Beloveth when you kneel to pray or come to the place of prayer, stay a little longer. Pour out your soul. Listen. Worship. Weep if you must. But whatever you do, don’t stop short. The breakthrough may be closer than you think.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

I personalise it: Holy Spirit help me to press deeper in prayer, help me to be attuned to you, that l will not quit when l am about to be called deeper into the mysteries of Heaven, that l will not quit praying when l am about to be called up hither like John was, Amen and Amen.

Beloved, there are moments in life when words fail, and all the soul can do is worship. Psalm 104 is one of those moments.

The psalmist isn’t making a request here; he’s simply standing in wonder at who God is. It’s as if he’s saying, “Lord, when I look at creation, I see You everywhere clothed in light, walking upon the wind, ruling over the heavens and earth.”
This verse will help us to lift our eyes from our daily worries and look up to see the majesty of our Creator.

1. “Bless the Lord, O My Soul” Worship Begins Within from the heart and soul.

David doesn’t say, “Bless the Lord, O my lips,” but “O my soul.” True worship begins deep within. It’s not about music, mood, or a Sunday morning service it’s the response of a heart that has seen the greatness of God.
When the psalmist says “Bless the Lord,” he is commanding his own soul to remember who God is because sometimes our souls forget. We get distracted, discouraged, or weary. But the moment we begin to speak of His greatness, something shifts inside us. The fog clears. Faith rises.

2. “Thou Art Very Great” The Majesty of Our God.

Our God is not just great He is very great! There’s no one beside Him, no equal, no comparison. The psalmist says He is clothed with honour and majesty.
Think about that: God doesn’t wear light, He is light Himself. His glory shines brighter than the sun. The holiness that surrounds Him is not borrowed; it’s His very being. When He steps into a situation, darkness must flee. John 1: 5.
Beloved, if God can cover Himself with light, can He not also cover you with lich and grace? Abba father let my life be filled with your light in Jesus Name, Amen. When you feel surrounded by darkness, remember that the same light that shines around His throne can shine in your heart.

3. “He Stretches Out the Heavens Like a Curtain” The Power of His Hands
The heavens that seem so vast to us are like a simple curtain to God. What we call impossible is effortless for Him. The stars, the clouds, the winds all obey His command.
He rides upon the clouds and walks upon the wings of the wind. What a picture of majesty! The winds that shake the earth are under His feet. That means every storm you face every wind that blows against your life is still under His control and can be expelled by him.
You may not understand what He’s doing, but He’s still on the move. When the wind blows, don’t fear it may just be the sound of your God walking by like he did with Moses or his is clearing the back for you like his did the children of Isreal at the Red Sea.

4. The Application Let Your Soul Rise in Praise
Child of God, the same Lord who laid the foundations of the heavens is the One whose hands formed you. The same power that shapes the skies is at work shaping your life.
When you wake in the morning, let this be your song: “Bless the Lord, O my soul.” Not because everything is perfect, but because your God is. When you feel overwhelmed, lift your eyes unto the hills of zion for from there cometh your help. He rules the clouds. And He reigns forever.

Oh, what a mighty God we serve! The heavens declare His glory, the earth reflects His wisdom, and our hearts echo His praise.
So, today, let every part of you your thoughts, your voice, your soul bless His holy name. For He is clothed with majesty, wrapped in light, and yet He dwells near the humble and contrite in heart.

Jesus Christ: The only Light of the world

His presence is like a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, and it shines brighter and brighter unto that perfect and Glorious day therefore no amount of darkness can extinguish.

From the beginning of time, darkness has tried to hide, resist, and silence the light of God, but it never won and will never win. Darkness can neither understand nor overcome HIM, because Jesus Christ the Light is divine, eternal, and victorious.

When Jesus enters a heart, He brings light, truth, purity, and hope. In the presence of that light, confusion fades, sin loses its grip, and fear retreats. Even when the world seems covered in darkness, when evil grows louder, and faith sometimes appears small, the Light of Christ still shines. It shines in and through every believer who chooses to stand firm, love deeply, and live faithfully for God.

There are times when it feels as though darkness surrounds through trials, disappointments, or the pain of the world’s brokenness. Yet this verse John 1 verse 5 is a reminder that no amount of darkness can ever put out the light of God’s presence in us.

This light called JESUS CHRIST, MESSIAH AND MASTER is not fragile; he is unstoppable, he swallowed up death in victory.

Let your heart be encouraged: the same Light that conquered the grave now lives in you, Dear Child of God. Shine it boldly. Speak truth with love. Let your actions reflect His glory. Even if the world doesn’t understand you, remember it didn’t understand Him either. The Light still shines, and nothing can put it out. Hallelujah.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are the Light that never fades. Shine through me even in the darkest places. Let Your truth guide my steps and Your presence fill my heart with peace. Help me to walk boldly in Your light and reflect Your love wherever I go. Amen.

Deborah was not an ordinary woman she was a prophetess, a judge, and a courageous leader who refused to be silent when her nation was in distress. At a time when fear and oppression ruled, she didn’t wait for a man to take the lead. She listened to God’s voice, stood firm in faith, and rose with boldness.

Her story shows us that true leadership is not about gender but about obedience and courage. When others hesitated, Deborah stepped forward because she knew who called her. She didn’t lead from pride but from purpose trusting that if God was with her, victory was certain.

In a world that often tells you to wait for someone else to rise, Deborah’s life challenges you to rise now. God’s anointing is not limited by gender, age, or background. When He places a calling in your heart, don’t wait for validation stand up, walk in faith, and lead with grace and strength.

Like Deborah, you can be the voice that awakens a generation and the light that leads others into victory.
