HEALING JESUS CAMPAIGN CALLS ON ALL GAMBIANS TO ATTEND UPCOMING HEALING FESTIVAL
The organisers of the Healing Jesus Campaign have reaffirmed that the upcoming healing festival is open to all people living in The Gambia, regardless of their religious background, nationality, or beliefs.
This was disclosed during a press conference held at the Senegambia Beach Hotel, where members of the media were invited to receive updates on the forthcoming campaign.
According to the agenda of the event, speakers provided information about the Healing Jesus Campaign, supporting testimonies, and engaged journalists in a question-and-answer session.
Speaking during the press conference, campaign representatives emphasised that the initiative is not exclusively for Christians but is intended for everyone seeking healing, hope, and spiritual support.
Responding to a question on how they would convince people from different religious backgrounds who may be interested in attending but remain hesitant because of their faith, a representative stated
โThis is not meant for only Christians. It is for everyone, Gambians and all individuals living in The Gambia, whether Muslim, Christian, or even non-believers. The purpose of the healing campaign is to help people find healing and restoration, so everyone is invited.โ
The representative further noted that special prayers will also be offered for peace, stability, and national unity, including prayers against the recent rise in violent incidents and stabbing cases across the country.
The press conference featured opening remarks by Pastor Sylvester Jammeh, presentations by Bishop Lovell on the ministry of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and the Healing Jesus Campaign, as well as supporting testimonies and presentations by Pastor Paul Mendy and Pastor Fadi Ceesay.
Organisers said the campaign aims to bring together people facing various challenges, including physical illnesses, mental health struggles, and personal difficulties, while offering a platform for prayer, healing, and encouragement.
The Healing Jesus Campaign Organising Committee thanked the media for their support and urged members of the public to participate in the upcoming healing festival, describing it as an opportunity for people from all walks of life to seek healing and pray for a better future for The Gambia, it shall take on 7th to the 10th of July 2026 at Buffer Zone
