This year Follow Me had graduates in painting and carpentry. Each graduate received a Bible and a certificate of completion. Those with high scores received a paint mixer or carpentry supplies to help them as they begin putting their work into practice.

The fashion show, demonstrating the skills the graduates have learned, is always a highly anticipated part of graduation! This year, in addition to having different sewing designs modeled, we also had a couple cosmetology graduates replicate their work from testing, and samples of the beaded purses made by graduates in our new beading program.

Each year, graduation is marked by fervent prayer and vibrant worship as we praise the Lord together for the work He has accomplished in the lives of our graduates and pray that He would continue to be at work in their lives!

This year's graduation, on July 25th, was blessed by an energetic worship leader, a thoughtful moderator, speeches by our team leader and the director of the Tabitha Centers, special prayers, speeches from Follow Me and Tabitha Center graduates, and an encouraging teaching from God's Word.

On July 25th, we celebrated our 2026 Tabitha Center and Follow Me graduating classes! Graduates began arriving as early as 7am, as the leaders finished the final preparations. When everything was ready, the graduates lined up and entered to the cheers of their teachers and family who had come to celebrate the occasion.

Recently a member of our team was able to visit two KidStory clubs in Gemena. After receiving training from our Kids Action Network team, one man started multiple clubs throughout the city.
At one club, children were coming from far away and their parents were so impressed by their learning that they approached him about starting another club in their neighborhood.
At another club a boy had been getting into a lot of trouble and starting fights all the time. After learning the story of Lazarus being raised from the dead, he chose to follow Christ. Everyone now comments on the difference they can see in his life!
Many parents are Jehovah's Witness and weren't sure about their children attending this club, but after seeing how it was impacting their children, they started reminding their children when it's time to go.
Please pray for this man who is doing such important work around the community! Pray also for other's to catch the vision and join him in his work!

At the end of March, our team had the opportunity to partner with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) to provide training on the sanctity of human life with the wives and daughters of MAF employees. Over two days, six members of the Kinshasa City Team ministries cover the Journey of a Lifegiver by Life International. Please pray for these women as they put what they learned into practice-valuing the life around them.

In January, our Kids Action Network team had the opportunity to provide training to children's leaders from churches in two different parts of Kinshasa. Please continue to pray for these leaders to remain passionate about seeing the younger generation growing up in love and obedience to Christ and His Word!

In December we got to share some time and gifts with students and teachers at the Koli School (the only school supported by the protestant churches for children with various disabilities in Kinshasa)! We are grateful for the work this school is doing in Kinshasa and ask that you continue to pray for them as they serve children and young adults who are often marginalized.
