Parka Chic
Unlike our US neighbours, the trend in outerwear has always leaned towards a longer-fit parka here in Canada. While Americans tend to prefer the cropped styles, Canadians have ultimately learned (the hard way) that more coverage is a necessity in below-freezing temperatures. High-end outerwear brands like Mackage have re-defined the parka in new and runway-worthy ways; almost making us look forward to winter with their on-trend and luxurious pieces… almost.
