That's the depth of friendship James warns us not to give the world. 🙏

God told Hosea to marry a pr******te. She left. She was unfaithful. He brought her home anyway.

Scripture pictures sin as adultery — giving away the loyalty that belongs only to God. But Hosea shows us the other half: it's redeemable. You can be forgiven. 🙏

They wanted God and ambition. God and approval. God and control. But God won't be one love among many — He claims exclusivity.

We can't live for God while still holding onto that one habit, that attitude, that offence, that secret. Submission means He's in charge of all of it. 🙏
