Summer has a way of changing our rhythms.

Sometimes that means adventure and full calendars. Sometimes it means slower mornings, long evenings, and a little more room to notice what God is doing around us.

So here's our question for you: Where have you noticed God lately?

Arise Fireside is Almost Here!

Last year, something beautiful happened as women gathered together under the summer sky. There was worship, laughter, meaningful conversation, and space to slow down and be reminded that we don’t have to build our lives on shaky ground. We can build on Christ, our firm foundation. For one woman, from out East, there by a chance invitation, something seemed to shift inside her as God revealed himself to her.

This summer, we’re gathering again for Arise Fireside, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Invite a friend, pull up a chair, and join us for a relaxed and meaningful evening with worship, teaching, connection, and, of course, our ice cream sundae bar.

Continuing our theme of building our lives on a firm foundation, Brittany DeVoogd-Zegarra will encourage us from Matthew 7:24, with worship led by Rachel Langford.

This is the kind of night that is even better when shared, so grab a friend (maybe someone visiting, or is here by chance), and register today. We’d love to have you there!

We’re hiring for two summer positions at Hope Church!

Hope Church is looking for two energetic, creative, and relational people to join our team this summer:

Child and Youth Worker
Help create meaningful, fun, and safe environments for children and youth through events, activities, and summer ministry support.

Youth Recreational and Leisure Activities Program Coordinator
Help research, plan, and develop future summer day camp opportunities while supporting existing summer programs.

Both positions are 10 weeks, 35 hours/week, beginning in June 2026, and are in partnership with the Canada Summer Jobs Program. Applicants must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility requirements.

Hi, I’m Terri.

I’m a ministry leader with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and a licensed therapist here in Southwestern Ontario. I’m deeply passionate about sharing the hope that’s found in Jesus, especially when it comes to healing, restoration, and walking in true identity.

Through both ministry and counselling, I’ve had the privilege of walking with people through some of their hardest seasons, including grief, loss, and places where healing feels out of reach. My heart is to see people experience freedom and live with purpose.

I love teaching Scripture in a way that is honest, practical, and full of hope, often sharing from my own journey along the way.

Outside of ministry, I love spending time with my husband and our three kids, being near the water, walking forest trails, or sitting in a cozy coffee shop with someone I love.

I’m so expectant for what God will do at Arise.
