Church of the Epiphany, Woodstock

Church of the Epiphany, Woodstock An Anglican Church in the heart of the downtown community of Woodstock. Come on in an pull up a chair (or a pew) it is that simple.

Some would ask "What must I do to inherit the kingdom of heaven?" At Epiphany, we believe we already have inherited it (this is what the cross and Good Friday were all about) and so we behave as if we are already part of that great kingdom Jesus spoke about. We accept you as you are and celebrate our common life in our reflective and study times, our social time and of course, in our liturgies (the acts of worship). If you genuinely would like to make and keep friends from all walks of life, belong to a community of intelligent, responsible and caring people, and explore God's diverse ways of entering into humanity, then you have found a spiritual home at Epiphany. Come to one of our services, call us, or drop by some weekday for a visit, we would be happy to see you and answer your questions.

GOD HOUSE VISIT DAY AT OUR EPIPHANY CHURCH
What A Beautiful Sunday At Our Beloved Church.
Today We Blessed The Backpacks Of Our Kids As They Head Back To School. A Beautiful Reminder That As They Carry Their Books And Dreams Into A New School Year, We Should Also Learn To Leave Some Of Our Own Heavy Burdens Behind.
Our Scriptures Today Gave Us So Much To Think About.
Exodus 14:19-31
We Heard How God Made A Way For The Israelites Through The Red Sea When They Couldn’t See A Way Forward. A Reminder That Even When We Are Afraid Or Unsure, God Is Still There, Making A Way.
Romans 14:1-12
Paul Reminds Us Not To Judge Others. We Are All On Our Own Journey, And Instead Of Focusing On Our Differences, We Should Show Grace, Understanding And Love.
Matthew 18:21-35
Jesus Teaches Us About The Power Of Forgiveness. We Are Called To Forgive Others As We Have Been Forgiven. Forgiveness Helps Us Put Down The Weight Of Anger, Hurt And Resentment.
And Reverend Richard Gave Us A Beautiful Lesson To Carry With Us This Week:
Always Look VERTICALLY Toward God Almighty.
And When We Find Ourselves Hesitating Or Wondering What We Should Do, Ask Ourselves Two Simple Questions:
1- Can I Thank God For That?
2- Is This Good And Does It Glorify God?
Two Simple Questions… But Maybe They Can Change The Way We Walk Through Life.
Today We Were Reminded To Look Up, Forgive, Love, And Leave The Heavy Stuff Behind.
Another Beautiful Sunday In God’s House.
If You Haven’t Joined Us At Our Epiphany Church, Come And Visit. Come As You Are, Bring Your Family And Friends, And Share In The Love, Faith And Fellowship With Us.
There Is Always A Place For You In God’s House.
