Join us this Sunday, June 14th as we celebrate 68 Years of service to God, at HPBC. We are joyful over the many opportunities and ministries that God has led us into over these last years - and we are incredibly excited about all that God has in store for the future of our faithful body. Get ready for thanksgiving, praise, prayer, and (of course) sharing some celebratory fellowship and food together, as we welcome back Pastor Mark Lowrie to lead us into the delights of God's Word. Service begins at 10:30am, and the children's ministry are ready and eager to meet the kids before service to prepare for an awesome time of learning together. Grab some coffee and a snack in the café to start, as we get ready for an extra-special Sunday!

The wonderful joy of Isaac's birth is followed up by a difficult text describing conflict in Abraham's family and a parting with Hagar & Ishmael. While it is not always easy to leave behind joyful stories for a more tragic ones, they often contain valuable and helpful lessons that help us deal with the difficulties and hardships of life. We hope that you'll join us this Sunday (June 7th @ 10:30am) to learn and grow from God's Word. And don't forget to stop in at the fellowship café for some pre-service snacks, while getting the young ones all registered for an engaging time in children's ministry!

Join us this Sunday, May 31st as we end the month with the joyful conclusion of Abraham & Sarah's wait for a promised child. God will show us His ability to defend His promises. And God will reveal not only His faithfulness to His promises - but also the joys of waiting on God to fulfill His promises, His way. Our services start at 10:30am, with the children's desk ready to welcome and sign up your little ones for an exciting time in children's ministry. Take some time to fellowship with us in the café before service and look forward to an awesome time in the Word, to be taught and trained by the amazing truth of our wonderous God!

Come join us at HPBC this Sunday as we tackle a hard, but important, passage that help us understand the seriousness of sin and the shape of God's deliverance - S***m & Gomorrah. Challenging lessons and hard realities pave the way for what is, ultimately, a chance to see the unfading hope of God's amazing mercy (and the way that it points us to Christ). Join us at 10:30am for the start of service, but don't forget to stop in at the café for some coffee beforehand - and at the children's ministry desk to get the young ones signed up for an exciting morning of great Biblical teaching! Join us at HPBC this Victoria Day weekend as we worship together in spirit and truth, fellowship together as we study God's Word, and enjoy the community blessing of sharing a potluck together! Our time in God's Word will carry us into an important time of learning about the Holy Judge who hold judgments and justice in His hands - while doing so perfectly. And we look forward to welcoming anyone visiting us for the first time, or joining family for long-anticipated visits. Service starts at 10:30am, with the church cafe firing on all cylinders by 10:00am, and we're excited for everything that the Lord will do in us, to His amazing glory! ✝️🙏

Join us this Mother's Day as we celebrate a full Sunday of baptisms, communion, and (of course) the mothers in our lives. Continue forward with the ongoing story of Genesis, we find ourselves presented with a timely opportunity to shift briefly into Galatians 4:21-31 and consider what the two mothers - Hagar & Sarai - can demonstrate when it comes to the important topic of works and grace. Paul's interesting lesson will give us a tremendous look into salvation, sanctification, and our future hopes. And what we learn together will provide a great opportunity to put the Gospel front and center, for those who still need to find their saving hope in Jesus Christ. Everything gets started when service begins at 10:30am, but don't forget to join us beforehand in the foyer and café as we share in fellowship and ready ourselves for our time in God's Word. Join us on May 3rd as we arrive at one of the most famous moments of Abraham's life [Genesis 18:1-15], where Abraham receives three very special guests and Sarah has a humbling encounter with the Lord over her bitter laughter. We look forward to learning lots about the Lord, about Faith, and about our relationship with the Almighty God. Welcome to HPBC as we return to Genesis and the ongoing story of Abram and Sarai, waiting on the promises of God. We'll be re-entering Genesis again at Chapter 17 and covering some important lessons that will prepare us for the series of exciting and famous accounts that follow. We look forward to meeting you at 10:30am for service, with coffee and fellowship in the café space beforehand. With Easter behind us and a whole year to traverse in the new life of Christ - join with us on Sunday morning at 10:30am, as we examine several Post-Resurrection encounters with Jesus to discover important guidance about how to treat the many days before us. While the brightness of Easter might be past, the days ahead are full of ministry potential, open doors of evangelism, and opportunities to grow in faith. So, before we return to Genesis, let's prepare to use those days well! Don't forget to bring the kids and register them for an exciting time at children's ministry with our awesome children's volunteers!

As we finish up the third (and last) piece of our "Saved for a Purpose" mini-series, we'll be touching on the foundational topic of evangelism. With Jesus having commanded us to go and make disciples [Matt 28:19], we will step forward in obedience and let the Apostle Paul teach us a little more about this calling that we've been entrusted. We look forward to our return to Genesis in a couple weeks - with a visiting speaker to join us next Sunday - and we'd love to have you join us as one study comes to an end and another begins. Our service starts at 10:30am and the café is in full swing by 10:00am. Join us for a cup, enjoy the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ, and make sure your kids are signed up for our children's ministry and all the exciting lesson they'll have in store.
