Join us this Sunday at 10:30am for a visit from some special guests who are close to the hearts of HPBC. We will get to share some time in the Word, with a sermon covering "Five Things God Wants Us To Remember" and we'll even have a unique opportunity for a pre-service session covering Biblical Inerrancy (@9:15am). It'll be a pretty fantastic session, so make sure you don't miss it. We would also like to remind everyone that - due to situational factors - we won't be able to stream this session, so we'd encourage all to attend in person, if possible. For those who can't make it, we will be able to make some arrangements for access to the recording, after we wrap up. As usual, the fellowship café will be ready to help everyone connect before service - and the children's ministry is ready to get the kids signed up for an awesome time together!

Join us this Sunday at HPBC as we return to the New Testament for lessons and learning from Paul's valuable epistle to the Colossians. As time goes by, Colossians will provide us a tremendous amount of teaching that will help to mature our theology, even as it grants us practical instructions for trials and challenges that are still a huge part of our society today. Colossians will help us both understand Christ and live better like Christ - and I hope that gets you excited! Service starts at 10:30am, but don't forget to stop by the café space before 10:15am to join in on some fellowship, snacks, and coffee. Our kids ministry is also eager to greet and register the kids for Discovery Park - so make sure to bring the whole family!

Join us this Sunday, August 23rd for the last of our summer Psalms. As a celebration of all we've studied and learned, we'll be setting out to study the beloved Psalm 23 and its many truths that bring such comfort and reassurance. Our service starts at 10:30am - and we'd love to share in that time with you. Don't forget to find some fellowship and coffee in the café space before service - and keep an eye out for our wonderful children's ministry at the children's desk, who are ready and eager to get your kids signed up for Discovery Park!

Come join us at HPBC as we follow Psalm 75 into its unexpectedly grateful approach surrounding the topic of God's final judgment. While it is not always an easy topic to process - see why Scripture is unashamed about it, as well as why there's always hope in the midst of it. We invite everyone to join us for a time of fellowship in the café before service starts (@ 10:30am). Our children's ministry is also excited to get all the kids registered for an amazing time in Discovery Park, so don't forget to stop by the children's desk in the lobby. See you all there!

Join us this Sunday as Pastor Alec begins a new summer series, 'Jesus Tells a Story.' Looking at the parable of the prodigal son. We'll see just how powerful, and mighty this story is, looking at it with fresh eyes. We'll talk about forgiveness, coming home, and what it means to be a child of the Father. Service starts at 10:30am. Come a bit earlier to sign up your little ones for children's ministry, and enjoy a time of fellowship in the café before service. Hope to see you this Sunday!

Join us this Sunday, July 26th as we pick up a worship thread begun in Psalm 13 and follow it into Psalm 66 to learn about even more reasons why the Almighty God deserves our praise. We're excited that our summer Psalms have carried us into so many exciting and helpful topics - and we look forward to all the rest to come. Join us this Sunday morning as we dive into a short Psalm, addressing times when we find ourselves in the low valleys of life. Let yourself be reminded about the powerful focused lessons that short passages of Scripture love to provide - and learn from King David how God intends for us to face low valleys and arrive on the other side, in renewed joy. This Sunday we will be welcoming special guests from the Fellowship's special mission program called "Leaders Formation". For those who aren't aware, Leaders Formation is an overseas pastoral training program, with it roots beginning right here at Huron Park Baptist Church. There will be some surprise faces and - of course - time in the study of God's Word, to help us commemorate all that God has achieved through our humble body. Service begins at 10:30am, with an open café beforehand and a children's ministry ready to welcome and sign up your busy kids for an awesome time of Biblical lessons. Hope to see you there!

As we get ready for the summer, join with us - and King David - as we study how much we need our good God. Be reminded how important it is to keep coming to God over the summer, for everything our hearts and souls need to live and thrive, in faith. We're also glad to be welcoming some new members into the body - so join us this Sunday @ 10:30am for everything God has in store at HPBC. Join us this Sunday (June 28th) as we reach a transition point in Genesis where Abraham's story of faith begins to wind down, so that Isaac's can begin in its fullness. Coming off of the heights of Abraham's test of faith in Genesis 22, we will learn both practical and big picture lessons from Sarah's passing and burial - while preparing ourselves for a summer full of psalms, special visitors, special topics, and (perhaps) a New Testament detour before returning to Isaac's Genesis journey. Service begins at 10:30am and you won't want to miss it, because we also have another baptism awaiting us to celebrate, as we gather to witness this obedience of faith. Don't forget to stop by the cafe when you arrive and make sure the kids get signed up for children's ministry and all the wonderful lessons the team has prepared!
