Red Dress Day in Nova Scotia, marked annually on May 5, is a solemn day of awareness, remembrance, and action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S+). It features the display of empty red dresses in public spaces to symbolize lost lives, rooted in the REDress Project by Métis artist Jaime Black.
