With these hot temperatures it's important to support our neighbours in need with this basic necessity.

Coming up this weekend! The Salvation Army has teamed up with QX 104, ALT 94.3 Winnipeg and Red River Co-op to collect bottled water for our neighbours in need this summer.
Add a case of water to your bill when you check out at any Winnipeg (and surrounding area) Co-op grocery store or gas bar all weekend long. Or donate online at salvationarmy.ca/winnipegwaterdrive
Help us SMASH last year's total of 40,000 bottles donated!

We have an exciting opportunity for youth aged 13-17, who love working with children! Our new Leader in Training program, gives youth the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and build capacity as a team this summer, all while working alongside children providing a fun and safe environment for our campers!

Kids Kamp Summer Camp Registration at Heritage Park Temple is now open! We are excited to offer weekly kids kamp throughout the summer for kids age 5-12. Lots of fun activities planned each week as well as field trips and special events. Morning and afternoon snacks provided. Subsidy provided.

Here are the themes for each week:

Week 1 - July 6-10 - Superhero Academy
Week 2 - July 13 - 17 - Animal Adventures
Week 3 - July 20-24 - Go! Go! Sports
Week 4 - July 27-31 - Around the World
Week 5 - August 4-7 - Pirates & Mermaids
Week 6 - August 10-14 - Master Chef

We love connection at Heritage Park Temple. Being part of a small group helps us connect in a deep way.

I asked one of our Tuesday night small groups about their group.

They have been meeting as a group once a week for 4 years with a pause for the summer months. This past Tuesday they celebrated another year together with a Taco Tuesday Cinco de Mayo party!

Highlights of the small group experience this year
📖Gaining a deeper understanding of the scripture, this year it was a deep dive into the Exodus story
❤️Connecting the Christmas series to service projects in community
🙏Praying for each other and growing closer, mutual respect and listening to experiences from different perspectives, a safe place to grow and experience a sense of belonging

Small group ministry supports connection, belonging, and deepening of faith. Praise The Lord.
