Catechism Information & Registration 2025/2026

Registration for this year’s program will open on Sun., September 7 and close on Sun., October 12. Please visit the church website to access the online registration form or scan QR Code. This year, we’re introducing a new format using Word of Life, a program recommended by the Archdiocese of Winnipeg. It combines both virtual components and physical books. Word of Life gives parents and children activities to engage with while learning at home. Over time, parents take a more active role in their family’s faith

While much of the program will take place online, we will still gather as a class once a month. The full schedule and links to the virtual sessions will be emailed before the program begins on October 19.

late registrations will not be accepted.

The Way of the Cross, also known as The Stations of the Cross, is a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ. It grew from imitations of the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, a traditional processional route representing the path Jesus walked from the house of Pontius Pilate to Golgotha, the place of Christ’s crucifixion. In 2022, a dedicated group of 15 St. Charles parishioners worked for months to create a 45-minute tableau version video of the Way of the Cross. When first uploaded to our YouTube channel, it received over 600 views. Video will be available until Easter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETLu_Zz5vZQ
