The first Sunday of every new month is our usual Family Thanksgiving Service - a time to gather, give thanks, and celebrate God’s faithfulness as a church family.
We came expecting our usual celebratory service… but the 9th Adult Harvest Committee had other plans. 😄
They said, “Let’s take it a notch higher!” 🎉🍽️
And just like that, thanksgiving turned into a beautiful feast of family, fellowship, unity, and gratitude.
So after service, we feasted on some crunchy white cassava flakes, hot & succulent 'Tim bits', solid water at 32°F, dairy powder, crystalized white Sweeteners, pizza, smoked BBQ done by a grill master from the Northern side of Nigeria... I mean, this committee can do no wrong, really!
Like Deuteronomy 12:7 says “There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice…”
And we did exactly this!
More importantly, it was a good time in the presence of the Lord yesterday. A Spirit-filled service as usual!
