“Sunday we go to church, Monday we get to be the church.”

We’re so thankful for every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to make our Community Thanksgiving Dinner possible. From preparing and serving food to welcoming guests and helping behind the scenes, every act of service helped create a place where people could gather, connect, and feel cared for.

Romans 12:9–13 is a foundational passage for our church, reminding us to love genuinely, serve faithfully, share with those in need, and practice hospitality.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to show God’s love to those around us in practical ways. Thank you to everyone who helped make Monday feel like Sunday!

Last night, some of our youth had the opportunity to bless others by making and handing out 500 free lemonades to Bread We Break attendees and people in the downtown community. 🍋

It was so encouraging to see these young people eager to serve, connect with others, and bring a little light and kindness to those around them. We’re so proud of the way they are growing in their faith and learning that following Jesus means looking for opportunities to serve others.

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
— Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)

What a great reminder that even something as simple as a cup of lemonade can be an opportunity to show God’s love. 💛
